Respectable Footballers

So, was watching the game today... Which sucked so bad I started noticing something unfootballing.

10 years ago most of the players looked like nancies with their floppy feminine girly haircuts. I remember Garcia, Kewell, etc with their floppy hair getting in front of their faces. Then Voronin with his silly pony tail.

5 years ago it was anything goes. Fellaini didn't look quite the freaky weirdo back then.

Last few years it's been the scruffy lumberjack look with the odd man-bun.

Something strange has happened this year. The players mostly look respectable. You put most of them in suits and they could pass as bankers. Is this the end of times? Have Footballers ever been respectable looking in living memory before?

 

or maybe its just fashion to have a normal haircut?

 

They should all have a crew cut, like me.

Indeed, what a good observation! It's such a pity there's so much pigeon activity over old Trafford. That poor lad who spends so much on haircuts has these strange coloured pigeon excremental colours dropped on his head during matchdays.

 

Nah mate, I'm far more glamorous.

 

They all go to the same **** tattooist it seems.

 

That's never been fashion with Footballers in the past.
