I used to know Ash Williams as he is from Tamworth where I live and we played football together many years ago (he was awesome, I was ****e). He is a lovely bloke and a top lad so this does not surprise me at all. There are plenty of honest hard working footballers out there is just a shame the press mainly focus on the negative stories. Its really nice to see a positive one even if the circumstances are very sad.
