Is anyone on the Norwich City FC Fanpage on Facebook? Every morning I have to force myself from not launching a four letter tirade at the fellow city fans on there, it's ridiculous the amount of negativity, the players for some reason seem exempt from the blame, it's partially Hughton's fault but it's the players who are letting the team down more then the manager. If we're to survive we need to sort out our away form my one wish for Hughton is he needs to be a lot more proactive, as being patient isn't going to solve our problems.
Ive liked the ncfc Facebook page so I get the updates, is that the same?
So on there today is a piece about jamar Lozas great goal today, the first five comments are people moaning about why can't the first team do that, or he'll score more than Ricky. Deluded bunch of winghers most of them
Well done jamar<ok>

I am very definately in the Hughton out camp, but I would never boo him during a game.
I can remember the dark days between worthy-Gunn and there was some pretty vile exchanges between fans to the managers.
Having said that I'm not just prepared to blindly except dros in regular doses.
If you want to have your say its after the game not during it.

agree. i think three of the four (if you include bury) home matches this season have been exciting games. ok we lost the villa game and it was hugely frustrating but the build up play was encouraging and had our final ball been better and we had a little bit of luck we'd be sitting top half of the league right now.

i think concerns about away games are fully justified but complaints about home games are wide of the mark and seem to based on a spell at the beginning of 2013 where we had two or three poor home games and failed to really go at teams. other than that, i can't think of too many home games where we haven't at least looked the better side or have gone on to get a positive result. indeed we've only lost twice at home this year, both to villa and mr lambert and on both occasions, we didn't deserve to lose

Am I the only one that thinks Villa and any team managed by Lambert are a massive bogey team for us and probably always will be?

I honestly think we were and are destined to lose consistently to Lambert's teams.

they certainly have been so far rob! four games and i'd argue that we probably deserved to win all four yet have lost 3 times and drawn once

On the topic of whether Hughton is right man for the job or not I am completely undecided, I think after 10 league games that is the time to assess. I actually became more in favour of Hughton after the Villa game when he made the right and brave decision to take off Redmond rather than Snod.

The only thing I would say is its still early days in the season and I for one think the football has been better this season (at home anyway), so signs of improvement are there but we just need to show some substance in the coming weeks. I think we just need a bit more unity and backing from the crowd in the coming weeks. Morale in the squad will have to be high to produce more in our game, which means getting behind the lads is vital.

God I am, and I can't believe I've not removed myself from it yet - it is without doubt the worst football 'forum' on the net and one of the worst things on the whole of Facebook (aside from those bloody Farmville, Candy Crush, Bubble Bobble requests etc). I actually rose to it yesterday and dared to call one of these idiots a "muppet" for rejoicing at the news he'd heard directly from McNally's PA that Hootun was getting the boot "soon". I really wish I hadn't bothered, some of the numbskulls who post on there truly are thick as two short ones.

@Munky

I did at least see one rational post, some guy 'appealing' for calm and trying to pour oil on perceived troubled waters <ok> Maybe he should contribute to this forum, as well <laugh>

Listen Guys, why the **** are we just not capable of debate without resorting to smashing each other up verbally? Look if Colin Flack and Ian Micheal and me can get along, bearing in mind we have completely opposite views on Hughton and we have never met. Then why cant you lot. it achieves nothing calling each other stupid names. its just allows others to laugh at us, this isn't a closed page, anyone can read it and they do. I have read several articles that all but quotes things that have been written on here.
Debate is a good thing and healthy, we all love our club but I think that some hate the manager more! It serves no purpose laying into each other at all. We say things that we would never say to each other in real life. Sometimes I read the **** on here and wonder at the age of the people writing it, then I look at the profile and see that they are fully grown men some with families foir god sake? get real!

Well it might help people get behind the team if everybody did think like you Rob! Let's hope we get Villa at Carrow Road in the 4th round of the FA Cup. By then we will be up and running and will give them the 3-1 defeat they almost got on Saturday. <ok>

Am I the only one who thinks that, in general, we have played well at home this season? Away performances have been well below par, but Hughton needs to be given more time. If we are still struggling come November, then maybe something needs to be done.

I've been frustrated as much as the next guy, but don't see the benefit in booing and berating the management just yet.

you are far from alone <ok>

problem is, some fans have ignored it and focused on the away performances which have admittedly been poor for too long now and will need to improve this season.

its still far too early to judge him

It seems there is a complete gulf forming week on week, those who say "give him time to show he knows what he's bought / how to get the best out of them" - and those who have already decided "enough is enough, let's get someone else in before we're cut adrift"

Then there are shrinking violets like me, who shift uncomfortably from one side of the fence to the other, based on our on-field performances, and other peoples' interpretations of them - like Carrabuh and Superman's recent threads about 'get rid of him now' and 'patience required'.

Anyone got a cushion - this fence is uncomfortable - and I feel I may be sat here for some time yet!

I am with you completely on the fence atm. I just think make an assessment 10 league games in, too early to judge how the season will pan out. Problems at the moment seem to lie with team cohesion although there have been a couple of selection decisions I disagree with.

On another note, does anyone know why Olsson hasn't had a shot yet? Is it fitness issues or what?

If that wasn't villa people wouldn't have been so gutted about it. Still distressing to see lambert doing well against us, if it was everton or newcastle who got lucky against us with us creating good chances but not finishing and a keeper on top form there wouldn't have been as big a reaction just mere disappointment and concern. Still worry for hughton as our form is appalling and we do need a kick up the arse from somewhere or inspiration from someone I feel to get the positivity back. We need a beckham vs greece moment.
