The most important question right now IMO is about the dressing room, not the reaction of some fans.
On a different note, I wish moronic fans would stop harassing players and Mcnally on twitter, it doesn't help the team at all.
But I've never wanted Hughton out, I'm still hopeful he will turn things around.
Also when people say he has lost the dressing room, how do they know that? are they actually inside the dressing room themselves?

Hucks. Well I hope it is clear that I at any rate believe that CH is indeed "planning to slowly make us a more offensive unit as the season goes on". His focus on improving the quality of the strike force in particular this summer surely suggests that? (I also think incidentally that if a quality affordable CAM had become available, CH would have done his best to sign him.) I've posted earlier about what I think CH is aiming at in terms of shape; but it will take time for the players to make it work. That's what he needs to be given. Putting him and the team under even more pressure is not the answer. I really do hope that enough people recognise what he is trying to do and that it will take time. 
it tends to be said when there is bickering on the pitch between the players, which to be fair there was at times against villa. it's almost always nonsense and pure guesswork. the players won't be happy at the moment and quite rightly - they are letting themselves down on a far too regular basis

At the time I didn't find it funny but thinking back on Pilks giving Garrido a right earful, it's quite amusing.
I think the bickering on the pitch was out of frustration more than anything, which is understandable in the Villa game.
I completely agree with you on this thread Supers. Also liked the look of your preferred line up for the Stoke game, with Tettey sitting back providing Fer and Howson with more license to push forward, but also providing a solid midfield. But can you imagine the boo boys reaction if we lined up with 'three defensive midfielders' haha
the manager needs to show conviction and go with his instinct - that's all there is to it. he'll never be able to satisfy everyone anyway

that's the thing with instinct - it isn't always right! but far better to trust it than over think and bow down to other peoples expectations. he just needs to get his head down and work hard. it is going to be difficult for him now and he looked a little surprised by the reaction at the weekend. i think you tend to expect boos these days if you lose a home game but to hear boos for a sub is pretty awful

it could also mean disharmony though. i understand why people draw conclusions from players bickering on the pitch but there is rarely if ever any foundation to something more serious. people argue in every line of work, especially if they feel they are being let down by someone they work with, and that is where we are right now. unfortunately some players are out of form but it doesn't make them bad players
Not surprised he was surprised, he made a good call, early enough to make a difference (finally!) and took a big risk too using up all his available subs with 20 odd mins still to play. He was clearly trying to win the game and making positive changes. I can only assume the booing was based on Redmond's performances in previous matches rather than this one as he was quite ineffective on Saturday and looked to be tiring too in the 2nd half. Saturday absolutely wasnt down to CH as far as I'm concerned.
I didn't like some of the stuff served up last year but actually have few complaints so far this year. I think the signs are there that the team has better balance and is trying to play proper football. It needs the players to work out Ricky's moves and anticipate them better and above all getter better balls into the box when the opportunity presents. I'm hopeful with Hoopers return our luck, performances and most importantly results will improve
I havn't had time to read all the posts so i'm not sure what has been covered. I didnt attend the match saturday i watched it on tv with my farther, at half time i said to him that Hughton had 45 mins to save his Norwich career, not because the performance was that bad, it wasnt but because of the next 5 fixtures coming up and the results since xmas last season. The decision to sub redmond was the correct decision but i dont believe they were really booing that, it wasout of frustration as to what many see as very negative, one dimensional tactics. The sub was just a convenient stick to beat him with. There is now a real possibility that after 10 matches we could be on either 4 or 5 points, if that happens, added to the form that has taken 23 points in 25 games can anyone really say it would be harsh to part ways? I hope we go to Stoke and get 3 points and he turns this around, everyone does but i think that is a far less likely scenario.

Every morning I have to force myself from not launching a four letter tirade at the fellow city fans on there, it's ridiculous the amount of negativity, the players for some reason seem exempt from the blame, it's partially Hughton's fault but it's the players who are letting the team down more then the manager. If we're to survive we need to sort out our away form my one wish for Hughton is he needs to be a lot more proactive, as being patient isn't going to solve our problems.
When things have been going wrong, it has consistently taken Hughton around 10 games to sort it out. That was how it was at the beginning of last season and when we got stuck in a rut from January. As I said on the other thread, if things aren't looking VERY positive after another 10 games, I think McNally will line up a replacement.
Plucking the old 5 games in 25 is a rubbish argument though as has already been covered (nothing personal - lots of posters keep bringing it up); he's also won 4 in the last 10, etc. These selective stats just don't work. The fact is there are some gaping holes in our performances, stats aside.
Love him or loath him, Chris Hughton IS the manager of Norwich City until the board says otherwise. Until that time arrives, let's get behind him and the team and give them 100% backing.
Youre right Supers,I too think his days are numbered and I believe the nxt 4 games are pivotal.Was disappointed with the crowds reaction when taking off NR and it took me back to when Worthy was getting booed.
