Forgot about Clarkson too, perhaps he overtake Cullen. Is the lad from Derby being kept on, Dillon is it?

I wonder if that also applies to Olifinjana and Jay Simpson ? New broom and all that.

It seemed to me that Barmby didn't rate/like Simpson as he just didn't get a look in even after initially impressing for Millwall, perhaps this is his year. I still think he is potentially the best striker we have. Fingers crossed!

I thought Simpson did ok when he had a little run of games and thought he would get better.

But what would I know

:-)

Hope Emerton gets a contract/chance to impress.

Mainwarring is the interesting one, we still know nothing about his signing.

i ve seen mainwaring play a few times for the ressies. he was released by stockport i believe, had (i thought) not a lot to offer compared to those already at the the club and mcquire used to be at stockport. unless he is related to mr mcquire, i have no idea what he was doing at the club?

If you're a Year 11, may I ask why you're fraternizing with little girls? ;)

Ah, I'm year 10 (that's no excuse...) I was doing coursework for Geography in the humanities area ahead of my exam and me and my mate were discussing Steve Bruce and Hull City when this young girl overheard us and proudly said that her brother Lewis has just signed for the first team, I asked what his last name was and conincidently it was Clarkson, phew, got myself out of that one. :cheesy:

This girl in year 7 at my school is Lewis Clarkson's step sister and she said Clarkson might be getting a contract with the first team

for what it is worth i think he, the tall kid in midfield who's name i cant remember (edit: douglas wilson) and fran macaffery are the pick of their age group. having said that both olm and myself were tipping gavan hoolhan to be the next paul scholes not too long ago. at that age, there must be so many potential distractions. i think gavan was on his way to carlisle. also dont forget, max clark is still (until last week anyway) at school. he has plenty to learn at hull city before you look to ship out elsewhere. in steve bruce (or clemence or whoever) we have to trust.

Sonny Bradley was in the National recently. A friend of mine asked him who he thought his next manager would be. he didn't have a clue. But he did say he thinks he is going to have to move down a div or two .
