Roger - Found the settings but where are the comments & how do I rep you?

Gotta disagree about Belgium, BB, spent many a great break there. Thinking about it, I was probably well pissed most of the time. But good grub, too - steaks in Vincent's in Brussells were ex, and the frites and mayo are always great!!

Lived there for two years and had a great time.

Brilliant beer, food was better (at least more varied), Vincent's was great for steak, petrol was cheap, lived rent free...

Bliss

Let's not go down the same road as the Skunks with this rep obsession: it honestly doesn't make the slightest difference to the price of cheese.

We'll have to start a Vincent's Appreciation Society, OT.

Some really good bars, too, and not all of them touristy, either.

I've just got back from Sainsbury's. Price of cheese was disgusting. The Manager said something about rep. I said what the ****'s it got to do with an old Dutch footballer?

I was always drinking around Ixelles (Place Flagey) or around Place Stephanie/Saint Gery.

Had to take friends and family into the Grand Place when they first came because it's so picturesque.

I used a bar next door to La Morte Subite. Although near to Grand Place, it was a locals place - full of postmen getting pissed after work. As such, it made you feel that you were in a "proper" bar, if you know what I mean?
