I believe Andrew Rolls was head of medical re-hab.

That is Andrew Rolls position who has been released with immediate effect. SL said that a few months ago would be an internal investigation into the injuries.

Earlier post on here states they will remain as part of the staff … after all they are quite successful in their own right …. and we did win the 2 games under the transfer from DH to NP!

Wrong again, we won 1 game during that time, Middlesborough away, the other game was a defeat against Barnsley.

I believe this will be a very interesting transfer window. No one has money. All clubs are struggling. There will be a lot of players on big wages that clubs will want to move on. Look at Britt Assombalonga, Middlesbrough paid a reported £15 million. Out of contract and no reported offers. So he needs to drop his wage demands or he could be unemployed. Fam we paid £5.3 million for out of contract in the summer and by all reports has a queue of clubs. However, i am sure compared to wages Middlesbrough will save on BA he will still be a cheaper option.

Look at the players BCFC will release. Not world beaters, but some good players who before Covid we may have got a fee for in January but during Covid no one had any money. So they remained and will all be looking this summer. My point, a lot of clubs are struggling financially and will (reluctantly) take smaller fees for players, not renew players contract, not because they do not think they are good, or they do not want them, but because of the financial situation.

Because of Covid the three relegated teams at the end of last season managed to keep most of there players as lack of money stopped other teams tempting them back to PL and Championship clubs do not get parachute payments or they are in year 2 or 3 with reduced payments. This year two of those teams have been automatically promoted and the third is in the play offs.

I do not expect BCFC to spend big this summer. However, if they do have room in the wage budget I can see them brining in some quality. If that gels with what we have it could be interesting next year and the subsequent years. To me a question is, not are the thirteen players out of contract good enough, but for that outlay in wages can we bring in something better?

So has NP been promised a big transfer chest? Probably not, however he has the chance to decide how best to spend 13 players wages and if better is out there in an industry that is on its knees financially.

Just a bunch of random thoughts

My understanding is Diedhiou and his agent are not happy with whats on offer from Middlesborough, looks like a gross miscalculation by both, how sad never mind.
Also heard Stoke have offered Paterson big money to move, slight possibility of a deal with us, he wants to stay, but won't be offered big money.

What is not known is how much was Fammy offered.. intimated more than previous and make him among top paid in club
    Not exactly 13 players wages!
replace Fammy and wages still the same … maybe a tad more …. leaves 12 of 13 keep 6 and that means saving on 6 of likely lesser paid individuals … so maybe get 3 new players in and book stays the same ages wise... however likely all 3 will cost a fee.
could we manage a season with just 4 new faces.. could certainly do with a Smozzy type player or a Joe M, both sold for a song ……
Silva .. Paterson .. Walsh .. Martin .. O dowda .. Weimann .. Watkins .. Pring .. Williams .. Taylor Moore .. Adelakun .. Morton .. …… almost a complete team not seen in past weeks … injuries etc.. makes up to a squad of 40 or so … need a big sieve!
