If Adkins is sacked it is perfectly obvious that Redknapp will be the bookies favourite. He said himself today he is ready to get back into management. If he was approached by Cortese, I think he would find it very hard to resist his approach. I can honestly see Redknapp returning to Saints if Adkins goes.

I can't believe there isn't more of a clamour for Strachan.

Its just people trying to delegate blame away from Nigel, why would someone who has no involvement in training be allowed to pick the team, not even a good rumour.

Whilst we obviously look to the manager in terms of player performance, I can't help but feel the players are massively letting the fella down.

Nigel, being the guy that he is, is more likely to tender his resignation and walk away with his head held high. Doing what he thinks best for SFC.

I can't think of anyone immediately that I would consider to be a better option than our Nige.

Well done on a stupid answer. I can't think of anyone better, yet you say "anyone if it assures us". The whole point is, I don't know who.

Nor do you. There is no clear "better" option. And don't you dare suggest that saggy-faced twat.

wow...wasn't expecting this as an arsenal fan. I think adkins has done a great job and it will take time to reap rewards for all the ground work you guys have done. Prem was never going to be easy and you guys had a decent start against manu and man city. Potential is there so i would give adkins two cracks of the whip at prem level before contemplating giving him the sack. Two quality defenders in winter and i can see a monumental improvement.
