He won't. He's forgotten about the people who use the site already just to pander to potential 'clients' and to try and make it more popular. He's diluted the Not606 spirit by making it Bieber-fan-friendly.

Seems a bit daft to get rid, if you're offended by the rep comments just don't check to see what they are. Tags were pretty funny too, and if you don't like them just dont look at them either, theyre hardly in the middle of the screen. That said I never got the whole 'rep orgy' **** some people were doing so it's not the end of the world that it's gone beyond the thought that some people may have only been posting funny **** to boost their points or something.

I thought the tags were often very funny - I don't actually think anyone was very bothered about the rep although I thought it was a bit pathetic that it could be anonymous... it encouraged those who were too chicken-**** to be even keyboard warriors to flame without response.

The anonymous thing is really just an excuse

Some people dish it out but whine like a baby when they get it back

Rep completely ruined the Newcastle board and turned half the members into Hoadie, every thread just turned into people fishing for rep. The conversations like:
"Some horrible person on General Chat just gave Neg Rep with a nasty comment :("
"The bastards, that happened to me the other day, have some Rep mate"
    "Cheers mate, have some back"
    "Cheers, you too.
Edit: Have to spread it unfortunately"

Used to really get on my nerves, and it seemed to be on every thread. It was a laugh when it first appeared, but people got completely wrapped up in it.

Gutted tags are gone though, some of them were hilarious and I can't really see why anyone would get upset by a few anonymous insults. And even if some overly-sensitive soul did get upset, the Mods could remove them anyway and find out who was tagging them, so I don't see the problem.

    RIP Tags. <rose>

It's interesting to read the various points of view but I think the Poll is pretty pointless. Most people who are happy with the decision either won't bother to vote or even see this thread. Whereas all those who aren't happy, will vote.

Another way of looking at this is that there are 12,873 members on this site of which, so far, 61 have objected to the decision.

That is 0.47386%. Conversely 99.52614% are either happy with the decision or couldn't care one way or the other.
