    1. he's not our player. We haven't given up a thing or inconvenienced ourselves in any way by "sticking by him"

    2. we were lucky to get him - - I'm sure there was no shortage of offers

    3. neither the club nor the fans (especially not the fans) show any loyalty to a player if we think there's a better one available. Why should players show loyalty when they know they can expect none ?
