Sorry mate, understand your point but dont agree for this reason

As stated, remy was never really our player but delivered when needed and put himself in the shop window

AT:
Was a star in the NPC 3 seasons ago
carried the hopes of our club and team on his shoulders
Was celebrated as a god and marvel with the potential of ZiZu
If warnocks book is to be believed..
Never trained
went missing
wanted out
couldnt get on with others
needed special atttention
Didnt deliver in 2 years in the Prem
the moans , tantrums, walk outs, special treatment

And then too top it all off...
When we get relegated, go down & nee our loyal players to help us and stand up for our club...what does he do? deserts us in our hour of need.!

He could have become a cult hero again and regained his status a a great footballer across the fans, instead of being remembered as the joke he was in the Prem.
But NO, he tells everyone how much more of a family foolham is?
How many fans and current players who have also read the book, would or could ever accept this bloke back as the second coming.

barton put his hand up as a mistake & fessed up...do you ever believe Adel will publically appologise to all us (mainly you) supporters he let down so badly?

Joey has done it (as much as i dont like him)and he has put in the hard yards and delivered....do you honestly believe AT will ever do that? No way, he'll run away to a softer easier league as soon a Joll gets sacked.
Time to move on i think <ok>

Forget about the Adel stuff. Minds are made up about that but do look at the link for a Adels ‘Fulham family’ comments in full and put yourself right:

“QPR signed 12 players and there were many strangers. It was difficult”

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ttage-after-QPRs-collection-of-strangers.html

Remember Joey Barton’s comments who you now seem to think really wants to be here. But remember he is only here because no one else would pay his wages. The only alternative was Palace but he knew they would lose every week. Also you talk of “hour of need” remember Bartons actions in our real time of need against Man City. If that’s forgiven along with the rest so your deep down you do know that other things can/could be forgiven.

Remy though is an easier argument to put many right on.

Ridiculous and obviously not true. £80,000,000 a week as a generous guess on his wages= £4million a year. We paid £4 million for Austin and he’s obviously on a good wage. Think of all the sizeable wages we’re paying whilst in the Championship: Hoilett, Barton, Kjrancjar, BAE, Green, Zamora, AJ, Austin, Onouha, O’Neill, Cesar and SWP etc. Of course with the boost of prem then we could afford Remy.

Remy joined the club knowing it was likely but would do his best to keep us up and I’m sure there was an agreement that if we went down he could go. Started well- 10 minutes in to his debut at West Ham and Adels perfectly weighted through ball and we went 1-0 up from a great finish. But Hughes had left Harry a mess of a team and confidence was low and few more positives in the season.

Remy was class. 6 goals in 13 games in a **** team and the only reason he wasn’t sold on (more than likely for a profit) to someone like Arsenal was the possible court case. So hopefully for more reasons than football he is innocent we get promoted and we get back a player that Harry said as recently as April 13th:

“we want to keep him….Over the season he would get you 20 goals in the Premier League. And a 20-goal-a-year man is going to be hard to hang on to.”

So we can of course afford him next year but some have correctly spotted that Harry’s real motivation is that this is a sensible thing for morale to say this year.

No mate, no where in my post did I say that Joey want to be with us. Of course he doesnt & personally I wish he get as far away from my /our club as possible. I dont care how well he's playing.
BUT i said, he has admitted his mistakes and is putting the hard work in . ADEL WILL NEVER DO THAT. i CAN SAY WITH CERTAINTY.

Might have known we get a ridiculous comment from you.
Exactly who has he put in thier place and about what?. Because it aint me

I said Remy was class -PD agreed
I dont want Joey & he dont want us - PD agreed
Adel aint good enough for us or the Prem - PD has his own opinions

So exactly who has he proved wrong, or is this another of your "I love Adel" snide comments?

There are some great posts, comments and debates running through this thread but it seems to be tilting slightly and going full circle to arguments that were ongoing a year or so ago. I think we'll leave this one here and move on....
