Remembrance Day

My Grandad was a veteran who collected for the Poppy appeal, and at the end of the day his boss broke open one of the buckets and said "here's your share"... Not really given much to the cause since he told me that to be honest (I don't wish to pontificate, but I've since learned this sums up a few "good causes"). I always think of those that served during the Wars though, and stop by war memorials.

More than anything I wonder what I'd have done. I'd like to think I'd have signed up straight away, but probably would have been shot in the head before I even got off the truck. No sexy wartime romances with exotic nurse beauties for JPF
