Jeez, if he's going to eat the evidence as part of the plan, he'll need to hope the cops don't turn up for a good few hours! Still think my death by (expensive) s/t is the best plan.

It appears that the Joel Ward saga is nearing a conclusion. Unless something changes dramatically, he won't be signing for Leeds #lufc

As I understand the Joel Ward situation, Warnock wanted him, Ward was keen but #lufc can't or won't pay the fee at this moment

And so it begins. Up to you now Warnock its going to be a long summer & I wouldn't blame you if you walk. How can you work for a man you cant trust? 3 or 4 in and he has one. No surprise as Bates publicly contradicted him by saying there will be no one in early.

Partly because the old skinflint does not want to pay out wages over the close season.

I hope Warnock has a pair unlike Grayson and tells Bates where to stick it. At least there can be no doubt then that our owner is stifling the club and needs to go.

Maybe the only reason Bates wants Warnock is so he can motivate the crocks and second rate players in the hope of avoiding a dog fight at the bottom of the table next season.

Even though I do not trust Bates & Shaun Harvey is quiet possibly the stupidest human being to have mastered walking.

I just doubt its Leeds United lacking the funds. I could believe we were not going in for him in the first place due to a fee been wanted etc.
But once Portsmouth let us speak to the player I believe terms were agreed.

It has to be a silly little player under the influence of an agent for me...

Phil Hay's comments do worry me, but I do not trust his journalism following all the pro bates drivel in the past.

It's perfectly possible he's just changed his mind, as I and many others have.

And from what I can gather Warnock agreed the fee but Bates won't pay up.

It just seems so unlikely, why bid for someone and then not pay up (it just gets Bates negative attention)

Warnocks probably done the bidding safe in the knowledge that Bates will back him & has been made to look like a right tool.

Leeds supporters are hilariously narcissistic (in the elitist meaning of the term).

Inbreeding is usually reserved for our friends from Norfolk - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/152...er-because-they-are-inbred-says-local-MP.html

Yes Ipswich is a bit of a ****hole, but I've lived in Horsforth and been to Chapeltown, Hyde Park etc...

Oh yeah, you don't have any farming in West Yorkshire either <doh>

Looks like you're in for another great season with Santa at the helm and Colin having his balls nipped, Good luck!!! I'm one of the rare ITFC fans who's got time for Leeds but some of you don't half come out with some **** <laugh>

So because Grayson made the best of a bad situation, hes a bad manager? He got you promoted with next to no funds.
No manager with "a pair" is going to want to stay at Leeds and have almost complete (by the sounds of it) player deals thrown back in their face.
Grayson did the club wonders, but tbh, hes a Leicester legend, so I am biased towards him <ok>

And let's not forget Grayson took over a team in league one that was better than the team we have now. It was handed on a plate and we still nearly fked it up.

He took over a team that was mid-table in league 1, created a team that took us to the verge of promotion to the PL and had to watch as it got sold from beneath him.

But Simon, if we had that exact team we had in League 1. We'd probably be a better team than we are now

    Horsforth is a lovely place.

And the rest of your fans have time for us, I actually heard one of your fans say you see Leeds as a rival <laugh>

I would take the team we finished with and won promotion from League one over what we have at this moment in time. At the start of the season just finished I always felt we went into this season with a weaker team..
