Didn’t he complain that the statue of Major General Sir Henry Havelock, a son of Sunderland, standing in Trafalgar Square, should be taken down because he was no longer relevant?
Edit: No it wasn’t it was Ken Livingstone. Note to self, instead of being morally outraged and venting said outrage, research who the outrage should be vented at first.

Wouldn't bother me if they pulled most of them down tbh.

Yes it was a crying shame that we ever had Churchill as Prime Minister. We would have really prospered with the jackboot of the Natzis on our neck.

He was just as much a murderer as Hitler.
Yes Chamberlain wasn't a leader. But if you think Churchill was a hero you really need to look at the consequences he erm wouldn't of faced under Nazi rule.
He sipped champagne and toked on expensive cigars knowing full well he would be privileged whatever the outcome of war.

I might regret this, but who should have been in charge of the country during WW2?

Did more harm to the Labour Party than the Tories. Self serving hypocrite who was Manna From Heaven for the Right Wing press and the Tories.
I won’t name him him but one of his friends/helpers/security was from the ABA (boxing). Also had his fingers in their trough. All into horses. That small group of people took a lot of cash out of the system.

I never said he should or shouldn't of been prime minister at the time. I merely posted my opinion of him.

I certainly don't hero worship him that's for sure. Most of the people actually fighting in the war deserve a hell of a lot more credit.
