What I mean is, there are a **** load of people who consider themselves football fans and will watch MOTD every weekend but don't actually support a team live. Hull I'm sure has as many of these types as everywhere else. When you think about it, English football attendances are shoddy in general considering how popular the sport is on telly and how many people have a thorough understanding of the game. We really should be able to tap into this demographic and get some of them into watching live football. In any other entertainment industry the product is made available to everyone and forced down your throats. I will always be made aware of the latest films even if I don't intend on going to the cinema and if something comes out that does take my fancy I'll go as a result of knowing about it through advertising. With football for some reason it's only advertised to people who already go looking for the information (such as by subscribing to the twitter feed, facebook page, OWS etc.) I bet most of the people who don't come to games don't even know about these offers. I've told Nick Thompson all of this before and I know that AP and Duffen were also encouraged to do this kind of thing by the old Fans Liaison Committee, it's been an obvious problem for years and nothing's been done.
Great deal. Well done Hull City afc. I expect one or two of our remaining home game to go out Live on Sky.
