    I hate Stoke, I wish they'd **** off!

I hate that they're in 8th, I hate that they have 29 points and I hate that despite that, they still have a -9 goal difference. You have to go down to Wolves in 16th to find someone with a worse PD!

They win 1:0 against teams you expect them to (also did the double over Spurs) and that's what we need to do - starting on Sunday!

I really hate derby day. Used to love it when it was a guaranteed win but now, it's not, we actually have to play.

Just seen a Mackem post on his board, 52 points he thinks will get Sunderland 7th??? We have 33, 18 games left and he thinks we'll get just more than a point a game?

I'm going to Blackburn away (which means I have gone to all four games against Blackburn this season) <laugh>. I hope to go to Wigan and Everton away and one or two more home games. I have never seen us lose at SJP.

Also you have us down as 60 points and that would have been enough for sixth last season and would have left us just two points short of 5th. That's quality. If we don't have a major blip and carry on as we have started, then I think that it is a realistic target!

    In my BBC Predictor

We finish 7th with 66 points. Man City win the league. Chelsea get 4th by a point from Scouse. Bolton, Wigan go down and Blackburn go down by a point from Wolves.

    He's a ****ing spacker then.

Honestly. It was a great win over City. Lucky, but great. Wigan are hardly world beaters, they had a great 2nd half vs Peterbrough. Now they're pushing for 7th? Seriously don't listen to ******s like that.

They still couldn't beat Everton and were lucky to even score in the game, they also got away with a lucky ref decision vs Blackburn, where they should have been 2-0 down at half time.

They will have their good spell but they wont keep it up all season mate. I don't know that for sure, but with the players they have, I reckon they'll be challenging Stoke for 8th but they wont touch us man.

We can beat QPR, they have Chelsea away, if all goes to plan, we should be 12 pts clear of them by Sunday.

I think Sunderland will be close to us but we will just finish above them. The only three teams I think could finish above us are Sunderland, Stoke and Everton. I can't see Villa doing it because they are ****e and nobody else should get close. Maybe Fulham if they go on a bit of a run, but they may be miles behind...I can't remember.

Stoke and Sunderland maybe if we start going downhill, not Everton though. They are **** now really.

Don't underestimate Everton. They always have a strong finish and they have got a brilliant manager! However I think and hope that we have to much for them, it depends on whether or not Cahill comes good again.

Plus they have Donovan for the next 2 months, he's been a machine for them last 2 years on loan. Always seems to get goals.

Did notice that if we get the same results from the first half of the season games we will get 62 points which may see us sneak into 6th.

You have, maybe even a little unfair. The only ones I disagree with in terms of us winning is the last one, Everton are usually just finding their form around then! haha And Chelsea. But you have been fairly conservative with the away games. You could easily see us feeling we owe WBA one now, and Swansea could be finding their legs feeling it by then.

If we lose at Fulham again I'm going to throw myself in the Thames. Last year I took two days off work and it was the worst game of the season.

That would certainly knock Lawro's predictions into a cocked hat

Brave man. We're set for a cold snap next week and they're a very good side when it suits!
