    3. I haven’t got an issue with it anyway.

    5. We’ll have the trade deal talks after we’ve left. My preference would be Norway and we can keep our freedom of movement.
    6. That’s up to the Irish and the people of NI, it’s none of my business.
    7. Labour - through gritted teeth if Corbyn is still leader.

Again an interesting acknowledgement as you said, not all poor people voted leave - but a large proportion did, I'm sure those same people have been mocked many a time on the politics thread as being uneducated and racist. So who does this agenda of protecting the poor really suit, the homeless haven't been helped by member states or our own government. The poor haven't been helped by austerity cuts, and harsh EU austerity measures in it's time though out Europe, after country after country has to be bailed out. But suddenly we vote leave and every remainer shouts, what about the poor.

When life isn’t as great as it could be and you’re getting told immigration is to blame time after time, who can blame people for believing it? It’s the ****s like Farage who sold them on this to further their careers who need to be shot in the bollocks.

They’ve been mugged off by an orchestrated campaign that was supposedly ‘anti elite’, but which was lead by offshore Billionaires like the Barclay brothers.

They were sold a promise that Brexit would somehow improve their lives so why wouldn’t they be tempted by it? that now seems to have morphed into ‘we survived the War, so we’ll survive this” I never saw that written on the side of a Bus. Vote for Brexit, it won’t be as bad as the War.

I find it interesting who people would vote for in the next GE because i haven't got a clue myself. I noted Stan said Lib Dems, and Bod Labour, the same as you.

Let's be frank about it mate. There's still an aweful lot of bitterness,, and many uneducated people.

I will give my own parents as example.. They voted out, based purely on the immigration issue (i believe), as they know no better.

Our ridiculous voting system means that there’s only 2 current choices, barring a few seats where the Liberals stand half a chance. I’d never vote Tory, so that leaves one.

I actually agree with this point, and I acknowledge that this was one of the main reasons why Leave won, because thick ****s voted leave on immigration issues. My problem with that is 1) We dont have an immigration issue and 2) Free movement, or some variant thereof would be one of the first conditions of a trade deal with the EU and I would have no problem with that. This country has always benefited far more from immigration than it has suffered.

That’s the issue Lib Dem’s are my preference now but nowhere near in a position to influence anything realistically. So its like voting to have a bollock cut off or the full meat and two vege.

As i said, i wouldn't argue against that. I did note you said (i believe) - a lot of people assumed, why i voted out because i was a brexiter, rather than establish my real reasons. Seems to become common place to tar a leaver with a certain brush because remainers didn't get the result they wanted. Not aimed at you btw.

Corbyn is a Leaver. Can’t vote for his party currently.
