oh diddums did i make a spelling mistake? did that upset you? you do like the smileys dont you? is that a 'simpleton' thing?
religions in the main dont tell you to fear death in fact they tell you that th eonly certainty in life is death cant really argue with that tbh
again with the well thought out response well done maybe this special needs in mainstream isnt such a bad idea?
People who believe there are castles in the sky are in denial in my book, how many of the stories in the bible have been disproven or explained in a rational manner? (You know without the ghosties) As for my views on bush and blair et al you don't have a clue.
i dont accept the bible as the truth i dont accpet there are castles in the sky bush and blair were an example (maybe a bad one) but an example I was discussing your assertion of control, well disagreeing with it
I love people like this fruitcake. "Science, with its millions upon millions of dedicated workers, researchers, etc can only take us so far". "After that, we religious people do the intelligent thing and 'have faith'..."
dont you see a pattern emerging george? those who are the most 'anti god' have all alluded to old men with white beards and fictional buildings in the sky they are 'insulted' at being 'pigeon holed' ( for want of a better word), yet insist on using the same language over and over again to .... well pigeon hole I am not a christian, have said so numerous times yet guess what?
I think that what he was referring to is that all the scientific advancements will not benefit you when you are dead but people who have faith in God and believe in Heaven(whatever form it may take) believe that we will ascend to a higher plane when we die.
yes the workers who have still been unable to give an effective answer who themselves are/have undone their own beliefs in this century that they pushed in the 19th and 20th those workers?
I noticed that. What they don't get is that people who have faith shape their own idea of God and Heaven and it is not about castles in the sky but that when we die we will ascend to a higher plane.
