How many games without a win are we going to manage at least last season we did manage to win three games in January
I for one wont be watching the football on Quest later. Rotherham winning 2-0 so we'll be 2nd and Coventry are winning 1-0.
I know Sido is prone to the odd disastrous mistake but he's a damn sight better than phillips who is crap! At F/T we're gonna hear the same old crap from Ainsworth no doubt. If we are goint to keep up our promotion push we need some new faces asap or the first half of the season will be wasted
If Ipswich and Coventry win their games in hand, Coventry will be top (2points clear) and we will be 4th with so many queueing up to force us out of the play offs! Without new signings that looks inevitable
We have had a good run at least losing in our position is not as bad as losing when you are in the the bottom six
All the subs made Aarons not included don't expect to see him in a Wycombe shirt again and now it's 4-0
Thank god that's over! Hopefully Ainsworth learns from this and doesn't be stubborn and makes changes next week.
This is a league where you never know what the result is going to be. Sunderland can not buy a win then go & win three on the trot. Coventry score 4 away from home twice over Christmas. Then draw at home to MK Dons. Ipswich who I saw at Pompey never looked like scoring, & did'nt do much better against us go & score 4 today. Back before Christmas you had Peterborough, Blackpool & Bristol R all looking good bets now all three have not won in their last five games. Rotherham had won 9 games in 21 played, have now won 4 out of the last five. It's dissapointing, if anybody had said we would be 2nd in the league even in September on the 11th January we would have thought they were mad. Oxford are playing Ipswich Tuesday night, could still be 2nd next Saturday.
Alright guys Our away form is still unbelievably poor so we need to change that If we are to seriously challenge for promotion. I can’t believe how much the standard has fallen this season from the last. Barnsley, Luton and Charlton were very strong and I don’t believe anybody comes near to them this time around. The league is so tight. We’ve clicked at home recently scoring 3, 4 and 5 goals in our games. I think a few more teams could suffer the same fate. Im not going to lie it was nice to put one up on you after the way your defender spoke about us after the last game but I’d still genuinely like to see you do well. Every teams have slumps during the season, hopefully ours is over for the season and you’re just coming towards the end of yours. I respect the job Ainsworth has done at Wycombe on a ridiculously low budget. I don’t suppose it would be rude to suggest he’s got you punching just a little above at the moment and I hope he can drag you through to the playoffs because it’s anybody’s at that stage. Good luck for the rest of the season.
