Neil, perhaps? Nothing against QPR apart from Warnock. Can't see the Bolton one either to be honest. Wigan have been toying with the idea for a while now so I think they might go for it this time.
Am I the only person who thinks Swansea are in for one of the worst Premier league seasons in history? I know they said that about Blackpool last year but aren't they a weaker team than they were at the end of last season? OK it will be tough to see someone get lower than Derby's abysmal season but I think they will finish rock bottom.
Newcastle have just said that Joey Barton can go on a free transfer. If the new signings don't gel and they get some injures to key players, I can now see them having a difficult season. Thoughts?
Obviously you have no idea of the swans team, we have lost a keeper and replaced him, we lost a midfield player who had a bit part role last season! And we have signed, Graham , Lita, Routledge, Moreira and Cauker with a few more to come! We are certainly not world beaters are not competing to be, but we will more than hold our own, and we will not be in the relegation zone come next may , also FYI Blackpool modelled themselves after the swans not the other way round, we are better at that kind of football than them, you will find that out when we play!
It's not about thick skins, it's about correcting someone who is factually wrong, opinions I can live with no problem, but who better to discuss the swans with than a swans fan ? lol Dont get me wrong I have a great deal of time Liverpool fans and have been to Anfield a number of times when I was younger, loved Barnes rush et al , and best game I think I ever did see was you lot coming back to win the champions league from 3 nil down, really don't know why you need thick skins fella
Would be great if Everton went down! Swansea seem the weakest of the teams that came up. Norwich might scrape it. If I had to bet I would say Swansea, QPR and Wigan.
You're right, I actually have no idea of the swans, which is why I used a question mark at the end of asking whether you are a weaker team than the end of last season. There was nothing factually wrong in my post that could be corrected because there were no facts used. I do however stand by my prediction that your team will go down but at the same time I wish you all the best of luck and hope you stay up because there are plenty more teams I'd rather see go down before you guys.
Blackburn stand out as being in the biggest danger to me. Swansea will be unpredictable but I cant see them not being in the battle. Newcastle could be very vulnerable after a pretty terrible summer. With Norwich it will be a wait and see kind of thing, but I think they will be ok. I think QPR will be safe. Wolves need to make an improvement this season and start moving further away from the drop zone. Wigan I am unsure on, I don't really rate Martinez, and they have just lost their best player. But I can see them surviving. I am also going to controversially suggest that Aston Villa could be in big danger if they don't start the season well. But after signing N'Zogbia they are some looking a little bit better. I think Bolton will have a good season again.
Bolton have a terrible list of fixtures since the 1st game, it's a good job they played a QPR when they did. Norwich should have been the lifeline fixture, now it looks like Arsenal might well be their lifeline fixture.
Arsenal don't look at all that hot. 4 points from a possible 15, 3 defeats in the first five and a negative goal-difference of approximately 9. Top 4, more like bottom half. I don't think they will go down, but the only europe they will see is when their players go on their holidays.
I think it'll be one of the three promoted and out of the established prem teams, Blackburn and Wigan Wouldnt mind QPR going down, nothing against the club, but I cant stand Warnock. I had to spend years listening to Sheff Utd fans banging on about how brilliant he was, even after they got relegated. It was worse when we had to play them in the Carling Cup, listening to how they were going to beat us cause Warnock was in charge.
No it wouldn't we need to get those easy 6 points from somewhere. Maybe Everton to go down and Norwich to stay up to compensate for those annual 6 points.
