So we signed a player for 15m, to then ship him out on loan within 5 months, incredible just incredible.

In my mind, I've written off tomorrow's game - the focus has to be winning the next 2 PL home games namely beating Crystal Palace next Saturday & then following that up with victory over Sunderland.
After Sunderland, we have back to back away fixtures against West Brom & Boro. We need at least 1 point from those games.
If we do that, we can face the 2 home Christmas matches against West Ham & Bournemouth with some confidence.
So win the next 4 home games and pick up at least 1 away point and we enter the New a Year with 18pts which would give us a fighting chance of avoiding the drop. Anything less, and we would be staring into the abyss.
Much easier said than done, given that we haven't won at home since 1st May......

PGF - as I see it, the 5 week period between the Palace and Bournemouth games will determine the outcome of our season.

You're right. It's a period when Bradley has GOT to get the team playing and GOT to pick up points, because after that we've got another nightmare run of 7 fixtures to look forward to.

4 wins , 2 draws and two losses from our next 8 games taking us to 20 points come January 3rd is my hopeful expectation .
This 8 games stretch of games will define our fight to stay up and a first game win against Palace is an absolute necessity to build the right frame of mind ., a loss against Palace would be overwhelming to team moral ....must win .

Imagine losing to them after they've lost 5 in a row ....a banana skin amongst banana skins ...this is clearly a fork in the road game and I hope the manager and players can hold their nerve .

Palace are a good team who have a bit more quality than we have so we have to play the best we have and that is pretty close to the team against Everton but with a striker this time.. If only we had a striker like Defoe who is showing his younger team mates how it's done. I wish we could play Trundle who is of the same mould that can take and go past players and can hit the target from anywhere......This is not an option but it is the type of striker we need....Palace will definitely target us for a win so we had better be 100% on the ball and hope they play their very best and if they do we can win this but if they dont then with the more quality palace have they will win.....cant predict this one it's so close so i will just say 0-0 draw and hope for the best....
