This is my three also, although i don't mind QPR so much Know a few QPR fans who have followed them through thin and thinner, and used to enjoy a few days out down Loftus Rd when i lived in Laandarn. Having said that, their current set-up is a microcosm of everything wrong with modern footie. So **** 'em, too. Charlie austin in the summer? They can have DG instead.
Wot u doing up, Willis? Car alarm and nappy change got me started at 5! No better way to start the working week.
I need my 7-8 hours, otherwise by mid-afternoon i'm a right tetchy bastard. We're all built different.
Hull is a nice easy day out for the away game tho. Burnley isn't that bad either. Hope it's Villa, QPR and Leicester.
Sorry thats wrong the system covers from top to bottom thousands of leagues and teams ,in theory a team could rise from the very bottom to the very top
QPR are shot and they have a terrible run of fixtures at home. They're hopeless away and that won't change dramatically. The lack of transfer action tells me they're banking on Austin staying fit & scoring. Hull are in a total mess and don't even resemble a team at the moment. Bruce is well into his 'weird tactics & playing people out of position' routine so the heart goes out of everyone. They've just lost 9-0, in their last 3 games, playing West Brom, West Ham & Newcastle .......... they play Man City next! I remember people bleating when we didn't sign the likes of Huddlestone but he's an absolute liability. Leicester have 4 of their next 6 away from home against Arsenal Everton Man City Tottenham. By the time they get through them they'll be too far adrift. They've already lost 14, to our 8, and just don't have the quality to change that enough to stay up. As an outsider I'd say Villa and this could be the best chance to see the arrogant Brummie tossers go down. They've scored 11 goals all season and none in the last 6 games. Sadly they have Leicester, West Brom, QPR, Burnley, at home, which could help to save them. I don't think there's much chance of Sunderland going down. It's easy to say 'we'll **** it up like we normally do' but when was the last time we did?
This ^^^^ I listened something on the radio about Financial Fair Play, QPR, along with quite a few other teams, are about to be prosecuted by the Football League for breaching the FFP rules when the were in the Championship. They are the worst offenders and It looks like if they are relegated it would be a disaster and probably lead to administration.
Spot on mate. Hull are in a right mess, Leicester are out of their depth unfortunately, and QPR not much better. I still think Villa are on a downward spiral without the necessary tools to turn it round though and I'd prefer it to be Hull, QPR & Villa, but you're probably right, Hull, QPR & Leicester.
I think there's a chance Phelan could change Hull's fortunes to be honest, they've got a decent enough squad so if they apply themselves well, they should be ok. Villa are about to get another trouncing this weekend off Chelsea, they're in deep **** and I blame Paul Lambert for all of it. I hope they go down, because they're really not doing the 'best league in the world' any favours, they don't deserve the money that's coming their way for the **** they serve up. QPR are pathetic.
I would love to see Villa relegated but they do have a good squad and I expect them to put up a fight, I would like to see Hull involved too especially watching that trio of cheating t**ts they inherited from us, the "hand of Cod" incident was typical and should be punished by the FA if they had any regards to " fair play ". Its any three from the bottom eight at the moment, but we should be OK injuries permitting.
Is he going to overthrow Brucie like? Only way I can see it, nothing against Phelan, everything against Bruce. Phelan could find himself being a premier league boss in a month or two.
The fact that Phelan's even coming in is a sign that Bruce as a tactician is out of his depth. Changing coaches has worked in the past, for us, so I think it's worthwhile trying and seeing if Bruce has it in him to turn things around. Bruce will probably relinquish a lot of his power on the training ground to Phelan, that's where Hull could do well. If it continues to be a disaster, the next logical step is as you've said Bri.
