really shocked by the palace odds. that said they must have some tough fixtures coming up - other than arsenal i think they've had a good run of games recently hence the upturn.

The next 2 games for Palace are Everton away and ManUtd at home and those are followed by Swansea away and Southampton at home. By comparison, in our next 8 games, only the home game with Spurs features a top half of the table team. These eight games will be the make or break of our season, IMO. Two wins and three draws would see us at 34 points. Three wins and two draws and we will be virtually safe going into the final 4 games.

That's the point about our run in that everyone goes on about. Before that final month we have the opportunity to put a significant gap between us and 18th.If we can have say a five point cushion after 34 games then I think we will be safe because we may well get a point or two from those. We need to look at being on 36 by then, but I think that is doable 3wins/2draws or more likely 2 wins/5draws

3 points tonight would make a huge difference both in terms of the table and confidence. I know Robbie(every game has equal value!)will slate me but I believe that this is the case.

Key game for us, and winnable, I think we have the players to keep Nolan quiet, should we go in defensive or attack minded?

    You can't say that!

You will get 5 page response from some on here with loads of maths and complicated words involved that somehow explain why playing west ham is the same as playing Arsenal......

    Look what you've done!

I must admit I am worried about this game as well.

We cannot seem to get on any kind of run this season, this has been peppered with our inability to beat some of the teams around and us and not picking up the results we did last season against against top table teams.

I do however think that we will pick some points up in our horror run in. Maybe a draw or 2 or even a win.

No real reason other than we managed to draw against Citeh and looked the more likely to win it.

Not that this is constructive in any way, but I'm as nervous about this one as I was before the Hull game - and I was bloody nervous then!

I can tell you one thing that I don't need stats for, unless we start winning a few games it's going to be bloody close come May.

You are spot on KEMP and I apologise. Got away with it so far though............and answering Fenland - Defend and get one (or more) on the counter I think. A clean sheet would be massive.

Clean sheet is valuable at upton park.

If you can keep them quiet and score early on the natives will get on the teams back. That's what we need, an early goal.

Doesn't deserve an extra thread, so I'll put it here.

London tube strike has been 'suspended'. No further details as yet though. Hopefully it'll make things a bit easier for any Canaries travelling through London to get to the game.

This is a tricky one to predict but with the records of both teams taken into account who would rule out another exciting result ? nil-nil anyone?
