International break feels so much better after a win, and now both Palace and Wolves are looking shaky ... Arsenal will be very difficult but not impossible to get something from ... they haven't been brilliant as they start to feel the pressure of leading the race for the title

The table after Wolves away:

Next Fixtures

Arsenal v Leeds
Bournemouth v Fulham
Palace v Leicester
Forest v Wolves
West Ham v Saints
Everton v Spurs

Three six-pointers coming up where there will be movement amongst the strugglers, be great if they all ended in draws ... Fulham lose Willian and Mitrovic for Bournemouth, and it's anyone's guess which Spurs team turn up at the Bin Dippers

Still to come:

MUST WINS: Everton (LOST), Southampton (WON), Brighton (DREW), Wolves (WON), Forest, Palace, Leicester, Bournemouth … 14 points takes Leeds to 40 points, should be enough ... need two draws added to those four must-wins

I will update this thread after each game, strap in

Another free hit on Sunday and then the 2 big ones against Everton & Southampton.

Any news on Sinisterra's injury ?

I'm guessing a month out at least, that's if he's done his hamstring which along with Rodrigo's injury is a worry.

Struijk should be back for Everton following his concussion last night.

Struijk always looks concussed to me one blink short of a coma.

Would play Firpo anyday before Struijk and what peed me off about Marsch that yet again he hung a player out to dry:
  • Pre-season Marsch says Junior is in top form and is my LB
  • Firpo gets injured in pre-season
  • Marsch says that Firpo will be back soon and will be starting at LB
  • Firpo gets fit and I mean fully fit but sits on the bench for weeks
  • Struijk carries on making costly mistakes but Firpo still sits on the bench
Firpo has been the brunt of all that’s wrong with Leeds this season by many fans. Marsch allowed that to fester even carrying on saying he is in great form, but carried on picking a square peg who was making mistakes.

Other communication issues with Marsch:
  • Joffy is brilliant and we need to give him minutes.
  • Drameh is great and we need to give him minutes
  • Joffy had a knock in training so we we went with Dan James
  • Told Joffy he will get plenty of game time - (Joffy signs long term contract)
  • Joffy loaned out
  • Drameh gets wise and refuses contract and goes out on loan
Heres more:
  • Bielsa overtrained the players
  • The players are suffering from stress
  • I’m teaching the players how to be confident
  • The players need to own their errors
  • Most of the players know what their jobs are
  • The players need to look inside themselves and reflect.
Marsch is a bellend and never admitted he was out of his depth or the results were his fault. He never stopped talking and that got fans backs up because it was always someones’s fault.

The goal was 100% down to Meslier. I’m no great fan of Firpo but to suggest that was down to him is ridiculous and almost smacks of a preconceived bias against him, like you’ve decided to scapegoat him for everything.
I think the point is being made that it was the RB who scored, which is our LB's man to deal with, therefore the RB should have been intercepted or harried by Firpo to avoid the chance of Meslier embarrassing himself. But you can't deal if you're 30-40 yds away from him. TBF, I thought he had one of his best games for us.

In mitigation, I never rewound to see what the Hell he was doing upfield when his man ended up putting 30-40 yards between them. That is the hinge point that should determine whether he's guilty or not. I was relying on a stream, hence not winding back. Anyone else wind it back to see?
