Saturday broke me a bit tbh. Just had too many chances that we haven't taken now and it's win or bust.
I was pissy, but by the next day I could see the positives. I think it helped friends came over half way through so I had to suppress.
Oh, sober. Not so good! When I went to Goodison, Beattie put Saints ahead but their bloody Canadian forward (forgotten his name) scored 2 late goals. Think a young Rooney set up one of them.
Strange to think that if Swans and WBA go down then us and West Ham will have the longest current runs in the PL outside the top 7. Are the days of decades long stays in the top flight over for smaller clubs?
Looks like it’s all gonna count on tonight. If there’s a winner they could well stay up. Huddersfield have two tough games against Chavs and Goons. And their GD could well send em down if they lose both.
Swanseas home record has been good, however their overall from has been poor of late and momentum is everything in the run in, Soton have hit a bit of form and despite the knock of our late equaliser on Saturday will go into this one the more confident imo. A proper nail biter for both sets of fans this one, as one mistake could cost their PL survival. Can’t call it tbh, the draw seems the obvious bet, but I expect Swansea to go for it and push for the win.
Don’t know why because they’re absolute ****e but quite fancy Swansea knowing Hughes’ record in this sort of “must win” particularly away and with Yoshida out. Probably just wishful thinking.
