    Does anyone reckon there will be whipping boys team this season or it will be more like this season where everyone is fighting. I think this season was a 1 off but you never know

    For some reason, we never seem to beat 'whipping boys' eg Derby and Watford.

    Aye, that Derby year was the worst, they amassed 11 pts, 4 of which were off us. ****ing Allardyce!

    Bump

    Halfway through the season so hows everyones prediction going? I know there were a lot of these threads but Im pretty sure this was the very first one I can remember, and I also remember it well as I got a lot of stick and abuse for predicting Bolton could get relegated. I believe Mr. Bump called me the "Friendly Forum gimp", but I thought I'd leave it and let the pitch do the talking. Though I know theirs still a chance that Bolton could survive but my logic looks more feesable now. But of course Norwich look way off! But as has happened in the past they could quite easily do a Blackpool and slide down the table. And the way the Championship looks any one in top half has a chance of going up!

    The surprise package in the promotion stakes was definitely Southampton, don't think anyone called them did they?
    In the relegation stakes, every team seems to have been mentioned at some point. Is it just me who thinks we might finally see none of the promoted sides go down? Though QPR are buggering that prediction right up...

    Think we were when Pardew first arrived at the club, he also admitted on Goals on Sunday that he considered bidding for him as well.
