I doubt that Guy. It's probably just the bookies' view at this stage. I would think the best 2 bets at this stage would be Sunderland 8/11 top 6 finish
    Wycombe 13/'4 top 6 finish

With the crowds coming back & the pressure they put on teams it wouldn't surprise me to see Sunderland,Ipswich & Pompey to miss out again they are expected to go up

We might have more of a case when Derby's accounts come out in August wouldn't be surprised to see them getting a points deduction

Maybe but it won't do you any good then though will it. You just knew the EFL would duck it. If it had been the other way around you would have gone months ago. I think fans bet on their own club at this time of year and the ones with the greater fanbase are the one with the shortest odds. There is usually one unfancied club that defies the odds at the end of the season. There are more "famous" named clubs that are in league one this term than there are promotion places so some are going to dip out anyway.

Yep that's right Greeny, we now have, Bolton, Charlton, Ipswich, Pompey, Sheff Wed, Sunderland & Wigan. There are also the clubs in support terms like yourselves, Doncaster, Oxford & Rotherham who seem to know how to get promoted from league 1.& us. That is half the division..

Hence why I am not confident about promotion and why the odds are how they are. Obviously the odds will change as the season progresses, according to form, squad changes etc

i would have been more positive seeing Uche rip up League 1, but sadly that isnt to be.
As Ron says, its going to be down to new signings for us, especially in the stirking dept as we cant rely on Bayo. Fingers crossed that we invest a little bit in a quality finisher

Or Alex Samuel ho i would send out on loan to stop Ainswolrth from being tempted to start him as he's a cr*p striker who falls over a lot.

"falls over a lot" = fouled a lot. Kashket = waste of space. They both need replacing really but just about good enough as last resort subs

Derby have now been charged with not paying a transfer payment surely The useless EFL have to punish them now. :steam:

You have to remember the EFL want Derby in the Championship otherwise League 1 will soon have overtaken the Championship as the best league & will have more teams that have been in the Premier as well
