Bearing in mind the caveat that we're not mathematically out of it yet. The front runners to me are Norwich and Watford, closely followed by Leeds and Everton. Our last game is against Burnley. What if ... We're 10th regardless of result. We beat Burnley they go down. We draw or lose to Burnley and Everton go down.
An interesting scenario, I'm sure all the nufc players and staff would give it 100%. It would be funny if the Scouse Mackems went down should we draw.
If Leeds beat Norwich and Brentford beat Burnley this weekend, I reckon it's down to 3 out of Everton, Burnley, Norwich, Watford Everton still have to play Burnley too
Brentford I feel are safe, I want to say we are too. Norwich and Watford and Leeds for me: their fans have turned against their new manager already. Mental.
Phillips and Bellingham are class. When Bellingham went to Germany I was gutted we didn’t have a go for him. He’s an absolute beast of a player and engine. He is for me the perfect central midfielder.
Norwich definitely but hard to call the other 2,Everton games in hand over teams around them, Brentford and Leeds tough away games this week, get something at Everton and things will be a lot clearer.
Right now they're faves, they're the only team who haven't won a ****ing game in yonks. Everyone in the bottom half has won one recently bar Everton. And Lampard will go for the FA Cup to scrounge back some reputation. Guaranteed.
Probably tbh. They really remind me of a certain team in the 08/09 season who were too good to get relegated.
Don't think we are safe just yet. Need a few results still and difficult to see many points from our upcoming games.
Not safe till we have enough points that the bottom 3 can't catch us, Wolves on Friday looks even harder after today!
35 is the number I think, that's on the assumption that two of Burnley, Watford and Everton will get the finger out.
I might skip the Palace game now, don't want to put the mockers on them. 3 home games in a row, I'd expect to be safe after them.
