I think they are slightly different to yourselves, as a unit I would say Norwich were slightly better but Southampton have the more talented players. Alan Pardew deserves alot of credit as I think he bought alot of the players currently there. No question Adkins has done well but I think time will tell in his dealings in the transfer market this summer whether he's got the eye to spot talent.
Surprise me once shame on you Surprise me twice .........................................................
just to be clear here: everything in my post is fact. I'd love to know which parts DM and Carra dispute? Secondly, Mr Bennett was wise. We aren't making the most of our talent coming through and our youth set up is a joke. Thirdly, everyone on this board wants Sheffield United to remain in that league, Ched Evans nonsense or not. Always had a soft spot for Wednesday and would love to see them come up
So, Ipswich fans, who support a crappy mid table champipnship team, are slagging off Norwich, a Premier League team as being ****e? Does not compute.
A Goal Difference of -16 and counting! You've got nothing to worry about next season! Ruddy for England!
That is the first time I have ever burst out laughing reading one of your posts! "It's never about how well Norwich do, it's always about how badly the other team does that allows you to apologetically pick up points here and there." So that's a fact is it? And our win against Tottenham was a poor result too? What is a 7 - 1 loss to Posh then?
No, please Aaron Lee-Barrett instead! I think you've watched enough of our games (Closet budgie and all that!) to know Ruddy is an excellent 'keeper and that he is second best English one at that!
-9 of them were against man city though. check out our results against everyone outside the top four and see how we've got on, seeing as effectively, thats the league norwich compete in - we can't do anything other than pray we don't get thumped most times against the financial might of the top teams. if you take out the current top four we have 40 points from 28 games - so we had ten games to spare!
Ahhhhhh, but Supers, as Ipswich were once a good team they will be able to compete with everybody in the Premier League, when and IF they ever get there again.
Ipswich are one of the big clubs Supers was referring to in his post. Like Leeds, they're not in the Premier League though.
can't agree on the talent front bar one exception. i'd love to know which ones you think are better! their two stand-outs are lallana, who is outstanding and should do well - i think he's better than hoolahan but there is no guarantee he will do well - hoolahan has struggled and they are similar players, while lambert is very similar in ability to holt and i think he'll score goals no matter what level he plays. they have a good structure to them just like we did, where players can come in and do a job without too much fuss. good team spirit, good players, good manager, good football, good entertainment. good good good!
I like the way you choose to ignore your crap -16 Goal Difference! When Van Persie has finished with you it will be -20!
Ok so our defence isn't that great. But we aren't a mediocre team, so we score goals to compensate. Your defence is hardly anything to shout about either, and you don't get much done at the other end either!
i think you'll find the authorities which determine how the league table work rely on points before goal difference i notice ipswich finished with a minus goal difference in an inferior league. care to explain?
Yes -16 and you're mentioning a player that could make that GD worse who has just been voted the best player in the Premier League. No disgrace in my book as we are part of the Premier League next season.
Yes -16 and you're mentioning a player that could make that GD worse who has just been voted the best player in the Premier League. No disgrace in my book as we are part of the Premier League next season. In any case you had a -6 goal difference from one game this eeason!!!
Thats why we are the fourth highest goal scorers in the league this year with the same amount of goals scored as Reading!
