To be fair, we didn't say what Christmas. It was just your chips on the shoulders that thought we meant the one just gone!
Its' more to do I expect with your current form, only Blackburn & Wolves have worse form than you over the last 10 games or so, this is not a Wum just stating a fact. If we were on our way up next season I would love you guys to be there as well, but unless a miracle happens we will still be plying our trade in the Championship for a few seasons yet, therefore I hope like the rest of Town fans you get relegated next season.!
thats fair enough, but back in august, everyone looked at our run in and thought we'd be lucky to pick up three points from those last ten games! as it happens, we've won at spurs, drawn with everton too - both very good results. we've just run out of steam a bit which was to be expected as we put so much into the first half of the season. we're still only three points off 9th place, despite our recent lull. just shows how well we've done really just to add to that, i don't agree with beefy about the teams coming up. i think saints will do similar to ourselves and swansea and i think reading have a very astute manager - i see no reason why they will go down as it stands. bizarrely, for me, the most likely team out of the play off contenders to struggle if they came up would be west ham, simply because they have no idea what they are doing - throw money around and hope for the best - its a strategy we know rarely works. i don't think the league will be any stronger or any weaker - it'll still be congested from 7th downwards
Norwich fans have this incredible capacity for laying bare the inferiority complex that runs through the whole club. Feeling privileged to sit in the Emirates is a prime example! The Spurs win was not a great result, their form has been utterly useless of late. I heard quite a few of you mention what a great result against Wigan you had. The fact is that Witan pounded you and if they'd had the confidence that a winning streak has now given them to batter Newcastle then the sitters they missed against you would've ended up in the back of the net. It's never about how well Norwich do, it's always about how badly the other team does that allows you to apologetically pick up points here and there. Town are dire but at least we'll be able to take pleasure from watching you slide back into the Championship. Reading all the slanging on your board, you all know it too so don't start all the Billy Big Bollocks comments.
well, Hampy put the bait out there and it took over an hour (well done for holding back that long) and then 2 come at the same time! spooky!
When Hampy makes comments like the above one, I just have to laugh. At best he doesn't believe what he's writing and is trying to get a rise, and at worst, he actually does believe it! Either way, I feel sorry for him.
I think you know full well what my point is. You are losing your most promising youngster to a team that might still be playing in League One next season, and even if they're promoted, surely you must think you will be in a stronger position than them next season, yet still, you are losing your most promising player to them! Embarrassing.
