Sounds like we have an American voice (again) introducing the athletes in the Olympic stadium tonight. Don't we have no one from these shores to do the job? Maybe Keith Lemon, like. He'd be better than a Yank.
Better from England in that test, the sides so evenly matched with 6 runs between them in the first innings and the second looking like England would get around the same total as SA. Nice wicket haul for KP, Swann must have been fuming.
I think Strauss showed a lack of confidence in putting SA in to bat after winning the toss. Let's hope that good knock in the first innings will give us some confidence back and if we win the toss at Lord's, we've got to bat first and put SA under pressure.
Fecking Yanks have won 30 medals in the pool. They've won 32 out of the pool. Good job for the Yanks that the pool is there.
A medal is a medal. The events are there for anyone to enter and compete. Those swimmers are brilliant athletes.
That doesn't make sense mate. The pool is there and is a massive part of the games. Britain is doing brilliant don't get sour grapes.
We're never going to match the yanks or chinks but to be 3rd is fantastic for a medium sized country, I expect Russia will overtake us once the ribbon-twirling and such-like starts just like they did 4 years ago.
Hey no way I am getting sour grapes, man, what I'm saying is mostly tongue-in-cheek. I do think that there are a hell of a lot of swimming events compared to other sports. That said, if Team GB were excelling at swimming I'd probably say nowt USA have now bagged 16 golds in swimming compared to 12 in all the other sports combined. That will be a mix that concerns them, they haven't particularly excelled out of the pool and they will want to put that right for Rio in 2016.
I've been absolutely loving these games. Best ever for me. Outwith the Irish boxers it has been big Mo romping home that's been the best moment for me. My living room was mad with my daughter with her face on my chest hiding and my son on top of the sofa.
Has been great so far, enjoyed Mo winning and then Bolt last night was magic. I had the chance to take my missus and daughter to two football matches at St James Park in the space of five days and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Felt like we were part of the Games.
Bowling first makes it easier to take the 20 wickets you need to win the test especially when there is dodgy weather.
I would have preferred us to post a big score and then put them in under pressure. Anyway, let's hope we can win the next one.
It was the right decision to have a bowl on that first morning. Another medal for the Brits. Anthony Agogo assured himself of a bronze. Anthony Joshua is on in a little while.
Ding dong, bring out yer gold. I'm losing count now as Sir Chris Hoy wins gold again. Is that 21 or 22 for Team GB?
Blimey. Anyone fancy a sweepstake on how many gold/silver/bronze medals we'll end up with? I'll go for 28 gold, 20 silver and 20 bronze
