Good point Sea-Man. But even if Migg's idea needs the inevitable tweak, it is one of the most original ideas I've heard of for a long time.
Just a theory, but you could bring out a kind of "super hard" tyre that all teams get unlimited use of throughout the season The only draw back is that it is a bit off the pace of the other tyre compounds
I think you're being a bit unrealistic in thinking they will 3/4 stop when using the hard and super hard tyres, they won't have any less tyres than they do this season, and if they run out of FRESH tyres that's their own fault, but they wont run out of tyres, as they will still have their scrubbed and worn sets.
