    Where would they stop play for a disputed decision? The build up to a goal can last for minutes sometimes, can you go back and erase all that happened in that phase if the ref got a decision wrong at the start of it? Do you then replay that time or is it lost from the game? What about my earlier scenario of a player being put through on goal and being flagged offside? If play is stopped and he's onside he's been denied a clear goalscoring opportunity, this technology which has been introduced in the interests of fairness is then creating its own injustices as well as slowing the game down for the audiences.

    Mind you, I think it should only apply to:

    Penalties
    Red cards (or second yellows)
    Disallowed goals

    That should really limit the opportunities for managers to use it as a time wasting exercise, whilst still making sure that the game-changing decisions are kept fair.
