I hear Nissan want to go on strike over pensions do that and they will lose the 2 new cars they were supposed to build after transfering from France, could cost the North East big time in lost jobs

I haven't heard that, but where do workers draw the line? If a company is reducing agreed pension payments then workers cannot just sit back and let it happen.

better a good paying job than the dole and loads of jobs to come, they could just as easy move to Romania or Bulgaria who would welcome them with open arms

But with state pension being reduced all the time then workers have been encouraged to plough thousands into work pensions. If Nissan are now taking money from the fund then they surely have to make a stand. Nissan workers industrial relations have been fantastic, but they just cannot sit back and let this happen.
