I would hate to see Rafa do well with Chelsea after their lot slating him for so long, they don't deserve a decent manager like Rafa. I can only hope that this is an agreed short term deal with no possibility of an extension
Whoever takes over, I can see another revolution as happened with AVB. The Chelsea players seemed to respect RDM, can see them not taking to a new manager, especially as the season is nearing the halfway mark.

I wouldn't have said no to that - think Suarez is similar in style to Villa, and whilst Torres is past his best I think a front four of Suarez, Sterling, Suso and Torres would get goals, mostly from Torres. Mind you, I still think we'd have been banging them in had we not ignored Jelavic last January when FSG claimed they had no money.
I disagree with most... I hope he does get Chelsea... he deserves a decent team. I hope he does well there. I'm far from a fan of Chelsea but I am a fan of Rafa... FSG screwed up not approaching him this summer... and someone has to win the PL. It won't be us this year... it might as well be the chavs as that means Fergies grimey hands won't be touching it. Also, if Rafa wins the League, and Champions League for Chelsea perhaps FSG will sign him this summer after he gets sacked for not winning the fa cup.
