Exactly, it's that plus the Spanish inquisition they give you as you go down the conveyor line of servers.
Loads of **** goes into 90% of food and the press make out it's some huge thing, but fact is it' always been there, we've always eaten it and most of the time doesn't cause us any damage. Like when they say more germs on the chopping board than toilet seat... well so what?! We've been using chopping boards for decades and hasn't caused us any problems so far
ibwt does make a good point, but thing that worries me is its an american company and they are not as stringent with the guidelines and rules of what is an acceptable amount of crap allowed to be put into food, will they try it on and bring it over here? who knows, could quite easily and when caught just say sorry thought we was in a dif country. i don't like subway so makes no dif to me either way, but american company and what they accept to be put in food would have me worried to be honest,as i am kind i wont tell you what they can get away with, but thank **** we are tighter with the guidelines is all i have to say, although saying that anyone for a horse burger
I keep it rather simple - turkey ham sub, no cheese, toasted, hearty italian, onions, cucumber, lettuce, tomato and south west sauce ...
I try and avoid processed food as much as possible, especially any form of processed meat, as I don't trust what's in it and it's proven to be extremely bad for you when consumed on a regular basis. Unfortunately I do like some of it, notably the odd sausage roll, but I tend to keep it as a guilty treat these days.
Didn't get the big fuss over the horse stuff either. If they'd just admitted it was horse then wouldn't have been half the fuss being made . I'd certainly try horse (in fact probably have at some point ) That's fair enough. Wasn't directed straight at you, more just when people start moaning about what goes into food without realising it's been like that and the only way to truly know what goes into your food is to make it yourself (and even then you don't know what went into the ingredients used). I'm sure somewhere the regulations allow 0.01% of animal faeces, 1% of insect body as an acceptable amount to be in some foods etc. People cringe at it without realising we've all been eating that crap last 20 years anyway
Ya ya, enjoy your horse meat from tesco you nugget. To be fair you see some people get some wacky **** on their sub. Since they came out with the flatbread, that has been my go to of late.
Given the descriptions of your regular diet, that hardly comes as a surprise mate. I reckon you'd eat a scabby Alsatian if it was covered in a nice gravy
Funnily enough, this topic came up during lunch. We was talking about food content including calories and all that bollox. Horse meat came up so my response was "I don't care what's in it so long as it tastes nice. It can have horse or monkeys in it, I really don't care!" PS...no idea where monkeys came from
Don't know about yous lot but I like my Subway prepared on a toilet seat so I can just nudge it into the bowl with one shoe as soon as it's been wrapped up.
