Redknapp to be offered contract extension

I don't actually appreciate the insunuation that I know nothing about football, I thought you were better than that. For your information I claim to know very little on football but use my insticnt and life experience to gauge what it's all about and from where I stand I'm probably a good guesser that gets it right more often than not espicially when i read the absolute tosh written on here most days by people that appear to be lacking in something or other.

I purposly stayed away from this board for about six months because the utter garbage that was written slagging out team off espicially the manager day in day out and than reading in disbelief that these people knew about football. I can tell you they knew nothing compared to me and I claim to know sweet FA.

Not much gets my goat but your two posts pressed the right buttons Dave and the cobblers about Bosingwa is unbelievable forget what he can do with a ball and look what he does with his attitude and he is a cancer that needs to cut out and burned never to return. Come on you know about bad apples don't you????

Dunne is a good player and should start some games but for me he is past his best and will do a great job from the bench ( this is my FIRST comment on Dunne).

Harry will do a good job albeit his way tread on plenty of toes and is putting together a fine squad so far, looks like one that will be here way after he is.

As for Hughes i will not waste my breath.

Lighten up, its a message board, no one is going to change their views or ways of expressing them because they are worried about upsetting you. Don't take it seriously, or flounce off again if it winds you up that much and everything you read is garbage (it is, but it's disposable garbage, irrelevant almost as soon as it's written).

Everybody knows everything about football, its the simplest team game in the world. It has to be, if idiots like Redknapp, Hughes and Warnock can make a living at it. It easy to have opinions about and spend hours arguing over them.The only mistake people make is thinking its important. It's entertainment, just like this forum.

Now answer me this: how could Hughes have prepared our team worse than Redknapp for last Saturday's game?

I don't think it is your place being condesending by telling me how I should use this board and that I whine I was clearly making a point read before you accuse. I use this as entertainment but when people keep regurgatating the same crap over ans over where nearly every message is negative, I have to ask myself am I finding this experience enjoyable if the answer is no than I am in the wrong place.

That's too easy he would have started with Cesar and Adel ( I am no Adel hater by the way just not fit attitude stinks and Cesar would still be at the club)

I have always stuck by my view of Dumb and Dumber and would so want to be proved wrong because I love QPR but right now I may have to ammend that to Shrewd and Dumbest ever, if our good ol egg Arry gets an extension.
This is without a doubt the worst Premiership on memory and a decent manager will cajole a side to 14th/15th ala Pulis with the shower that is Palace.
I absolutely dont blame Redknapp, why should he turn down a fortune but Fernandes is full of it and will eventually leave with his empty promises, blaming fans for turning on him and leaving us with a Financial nightmare we may never come out of.
Cue the "You must never doubt our Tone brigade" to disparage and recoil in horror - get on with it.

Stan, now not defending good ol egg in the slightest but you do remember how many always games we won in the full year under Hughes? In fact we only got a draw at Villa and Swansea in that time - if memory serves.

Not defending Hughes, just highlighting the rather strange differences in criteria when it comes to judging Redknapp.

I don't believe this contract extension stuff, but if it happens my shaking confidence in Fernandes will be further undermined, on top of the non existent training ground and the unrealistic stadium timelines. Still think we have the players to do ok this year though, just hoping last Sunday was a nasty wake up call.

On reflection, you have a point Stan my boy. If myself and the Harry-lovers continually point out how great he's been in simplistic terms like how he got us promoted, then you're correct in that you could easily say he got us relegated too (or Hughes kept us up) . What's good for the Goose etc.

Truth is, if he doesn't win a game in the next couple of weeks then fat Thony will have to pull the plug on old Droopy face. We learned last time that giving a bloke 12 games without a win is too long.

I think 12 games is fair Swords, and would stick with him if we've got 12/13 points at the end of that. Of course i'll continue moaning about him, but that's my prerogative.....
