I've never wummed in my life. Nor have I ever used an idiom referencing baseball like according to your mate Ellewoods
So not only are you a WUM your a idiot WUM who doesnt know what he is saying? For your future reference Idiom: step up to the plate Etymology: based on the baseball meaning of step up to the plate(move into position to hit the ball)
Well bugger me sideways and cum on my face. I've been using baseball phrases without even knowing it! Cheers Elwood!!
Ive noticed you all using lots of baseball idioms so its not surprising that you didnt know what it meant. I was only joking about you being an American. I know you arnt one as no american says things like ****e but you were using other slang we use so I tossed it out. tossed out is another baseball idiom you start a game by someone tossing out the first pitch, if you use it to start something (trouble in this case as we were bantering) its root is from baseball.
The bloke is a Grade A cant. Unbelievable how the media still revere him. Kin unbelievable. Good riddance.
He could always refuse to comment or give interviews. No, hang on. He actually believes there's a club mad enough to give him one last shot so I guess he does have to keep marketing himself via stories like this one.
......... I have it on good authority, if the money and transfer kitty is right, his knees will last out for another season or two .......... or at lest till the management catches him out. My knees are feeling triffic, there in top top condition they are ........ make no mistake.
Not quite, Mr Hurt. I was thinking after listening to him say yesterday "The team Chris picked to play Southampton, 7 of that 11 were there when the Club got relegated two years ago" that it didn't sound right. In fact of that lineup, only four were there when we were relegated - including Barton who was owned by the Club but was in France. The other three were Green, Yun and Zamora. (He also said 9 of them were in the C'ship with us last year...it was 7). And again he said that he only had 12 players on the preseason trip to Ireland when in fact he had 22. Okay Mr Hurt, let that be the last post on the effing buffoon
That's a bit harsh and over the top, considering you're obviously basing your opinion on a football perspective......unless you know the guy personally that is?
