If Harry's heart isn't in the job, then he shouldn't have the job. His role is manager of Tottenham Hotspur, therefore he should perform said role to the best of his abilities, rather than carry on half arsed until the FA come calling.

Bernstein pick up the phone. A 4 year old's finger painting would contain more tactics than Redknapp's notebook... Getting beyond tedious now. No tactical nous, his answer to everything is to revert to 4-4-2

Of course, there's no denying Redknapp has done a good job and took us to a level none of have been used to in recent years. However, I remember an interview with Van der Vaart soon after he joined Spurs; he mentioned how refreshing it was at Spurs because they don't, or at least very rarely, practice tactics in training. I'm sorry, but in some games we may get away with going out all gung-ho and expressing ourselves, but if really we want to move to the next level - which with the players we have we really should be looking at - then we really need someone more astute. The trouble is of course, should Redknapp leave, then who steps in ?

At least he didn't say that the pitch was too small like AVB did. Talking of which Barca lost tonight so Chelsea will fancy their chances.

At least as Spurs supporters we're used to disappointment. The Barca fans must be having a breakdown .. 2 defeats on the trot!

I think Redknapps problem is he thinks you are over-achieving just being in the race for top 4 etc ( Taking into account your transfers/wages you probably are ) but he needs to change his mindset to your not over-achieving and the players need a kick up the backside. There are a lot of problems, one of them is he constantly keeps talking about over-achieving, do you see pardrew doing that? His putting it in his head that 5th / 6th is good enough when it shouldn't be, he should have higher hopes as should the players, but by the things he keeps saying in his interviews it appears to me he is not grilling the players his constantly looking at tiny positives.

I think the players don't know what to do as they know Redknapp is leaving but in another way they don't know his leaving because he hasn't actually confirmed it, he should of made a instant decision e.g. said " i'm leaving at the end of the season" and then got all the players rallyed up to get that top 4 so he can leave on a high note but instead he has left everyone in the dark and keeps using the same old excuses.

Obviously this is just my point of view ( a outsiders point of view who don't support any premier league club ) so i may be wrong but it's just the vibe i get.
Look at what he said yesterday http://hereisthecity.com/2012/04/21...mpions-league-says-tottenhams-harry-redknapp/
look at the last paragraph, he is saying he don't even think your squad is as good as liverpools. He should have higher expectations instead of constantly lowering them.

7th April 2012. Rebalspur anounced, on this board, the arrival of the so called "Squeaky Bum Time".
Well 'heavy duty oil' is now required, because all our asses, including Harrys are beginning to squeak like the senior members of the National 'Le Jeune' Ballet group preforming 'Snow blooding White' or is it 'Swan fr***ing lake'.,

Come on Harry get your finger out.,

    Just WOW!

It wasn't that long ago that Spurs were a mid-table team happy to flirt with a cup run here and there and just enjoy being invited to the big boys party. Harry has transformed your team and as soon as you hit trouble you all want to get rid of him? makes no sense!

I would imagine that a few bad eggs would want to mouth off about Harry but all this is ridiculous. You need to remember where you came from boys....

It took us a stint in the Championship to get our feet back on the ground and we are all the better for it. If the rumours are true that Bale, Modric and Walker may leave your club you can say hello again to your old friend 'mid table obscurity' for another few seasons.

...which you fully deserve after reading those 3 pages of drivel

Yeah sure! Amongst our drivel it has been pointed out many times that the fact Harry has talked up the England job and then proceeded to take his eye off the Spurs ball may just possibly have something to do with our discontent.
The fact that we went through this last season and he learned nothing may have something to do with it as well.

It's always best to avoid mouthing off about something you do not understand.

Good luck to NUFC btw. <ok>

Shocked at the lack of support for Harry, not doing well at the moment very true but you've been doing a hell of a lot better since he took the job.

    Talk about knee jerk.

Just reading this, who would you hope to have come in and be your saviour? At least in the summer you have the option of luring another manager away from a top club

Have to agree with this, which decent manager would leave their present club this late in the season, do you fancy someone who is currently without a club, perhaps during the close season a top manager could be lured away.
With a bit of good luck and careful selection, you may find a manager who feels he can progress your club, persuade your better players to stay, a change now may be a disaster.
