Yes, I do want to be entertained and I haven't been this season. We were top of the league without playing well (Barton said as much himself) and I expected that we would kick on and win the league comfortably with some entertainment thrown in. I was wrong, and our performances have deteriorated since McLaren left. Redknapp appears clueless as to how get a performance out of the group he has put together. Barton commented on the lack of effort from some of team against Sheff Weds, which is why I give some credence to the article in the OP. It may be bullshit, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was true.

You were very much getting carried away thinking like that, as most of us where. When you think about it, it was a crazy expectation to have considering the mess we were coming from. I think we've stabilized into the position we're worthy of. Yet you still think we should have walked this league? I think that's displaying a lack of appreciation about what this division is all about and what is required to get out of it. Its awfully hard. That's why so few relegated sides bounce right back up.

I also don't think you should've been looking for entertainment this season. That too was unrealistic . That's not what this season was ever going to be about.

You've mentioned Barton twice in your post to back up your claims. This is presumably the same Mr Barton who couldn't keep his trap shut having a go at the Club all last season when he was in France? Of course there was a lack of effort at Wednesday yet you want to blame Redknapp instead of the players. Redknapp has weeded out a lot of the scumbags that disgraced the shirt last year but there's still some work to do in that area. Surely you didn't think he could've totally reconstructed the squad in one window? That's a third unrealistic expectation you had Stroller.

You strike me as naive when it comes to winning promotion out of the Championship.

If it is naïve to expect the 14th highest paid manager in the world to be able to organise and motivate a group of players, nearly all of whom have played at a higher level, to achieve promotion from a division full of very ordinary teams, then perhaps I am.

    The article states :

QPR recently announced losses of £64.5million for last season’s Premier League relegation campaign. Under fair-play rules, they could face a huge fine if promoted back to the top flight or a transfer embargo should they remain in the Football League.

Is that right ?? I was under the impression that we wouldn't incur any sanction IF promoted. Is the article wrong or have I misunderstood the whole FFP thing ?
If we do get fined if promoted then we are f***** over, whatever happens.

Definitely with you on this Stroller and the "other Directors" who want Arry gone Yesterday. No idea if the article is true or not Eamon- don't see any source given for it either, don't see how they travel is a big issue and there are bound to be Directors who want Arry out now as many supporters do. Whether the article is bullshæt or not is also unimportant - there are many that see our chances of an an immediate return to the PL being Improved with a new Manager sharpish.

I don't see a change being any use now, but certainly at the end of the season...

Nothing happens at all this season if we are promoted or not. People aren't even sure it will be in effect next season.

As for the story, my mate said hed only say what happened face to face, I think we can conclude what went on from that.

That's terribly simplistic mate, no offence. Redknapp could be the highest paid Manager in the World but still wouldn't be able to galvanize these players any more than he has done. That he's managed to get them this far is testament to him. You still aren't remembering how little of a sh*t they gave last season. A worse bunch of characterless players I don't think was ever assembled in the history of the modern game. Oh and the reason they played at a higher level but ain't now is because they're not that good any more.

Look, a number of us last May said that Wigan and Reading were far better equipped for the Championship than we were. That was pretty obvious, particularly in Reading's case where they still had a squad of good Championship sloggers. But with only a handful of games left we're ahead of the pair of 'em. Yes the quality in this division is dreadful but the English 2nd tier has always been accepted as being an oxymoron in that its both an awful standard but also awfully hard to get out of owing to its competitiveness which is unmatched by any other league in World football IMO.

Stroller, you need to wake up mate. We're in the thick of a promotion challenge to the Premiership and you're acting like we're about to drop out of the football league!

Most weeks mate when its technologically possible. Though try as I might yesterday, I only could get scraps cos the Rhino sold me a pup.

But what I did get to see of yesterday, Kranjcar looked absolute pants. COL was right, that fat git is no more a Pro footballer than Flyer is. Time for him to go on a weight-watchers weekend I reckon.

Don't knock the Championship, it's the top second tier league in the world and better attended than most countries' top tier leagues.

Better league that the Premiership in many respects, fed up with the usual five or six dominating year after year there. At least with the Championship there's variety with fallen "greats" and minnows like Yeovil.

If the MLS is (allegedly and not by me) rated the 7th best league in the world where does that place the Championship...

If it was false, hed say so and wouldn't be revealing anything. If its true and someone finds the text or message on his phone, he could be sacked from his job.
