Precisely .............. We did not perform well during the pre season. We have since brought in nearly half a team and were supposed to hopefully get up to speed asap? Well, cant see it happening but a couple of goals and maybe a draw will help. If we can just snag a win against Sunderland, the team would pick up a bit of confidence quick smart. Anyway, just my two bobs worth.
I thinnk Uber makes an excellent point. Let's see how Sunderland and WBA do against this Spurs side before we continue to beat ourselves (& Harry) up.
2 games in, no goals, no points. If I were a manure fan I'd be bothered. Thank phuck I support QPR and therefore have more realistic expectations. We were a little unlucky v Hull and did ANYONE really expect a win at WHL? Harry is doing OK and we'll be fine.
I have an image of someone with steam coming out of their ears like an over boiled kettle ending with his head exploding and the body collapsing to the floor after.
This has been done: play offs were minimum expected due to resources money spent quality of the players retained- Then play offs got away with it I shouldn't have mentioned it here because it's distracted from what I was really talking about Yeah this fair and the only reason I brought this up was because we were so bad. I don't think many of those posting above in defence of Harry were actually at the game. It was a complete shambles and without a doubt as bad as anything seen under Hughes. Again I shouldn't have mentioned it here because it's distracted from what I was really talking about which was Harry waving at the Spurs fans. Funny how not a single one of the pro-Harry responses or any other followers of the Harry Redknapp cult came up with a comment to justify that?! Again you had to really be there appreciate how bad we were and this amplified the disrespectful nature of what Harry did. Can any of you imagine Chelsea being 4-0 down at Madrid and Mourinho waving at the Madrid fans? 4-0 after he has spent £20 odd million of a small club with large amounts of debt and he produces a performance like that. Tactically they destroyed us and he was out thought. Pochettino was on the touch line providing instructions for basically the whole game and harry moves only when he waves at the Spurs fans. As I said, that is more evidence that he doesn't care about our club and it is plain disrespectful
I am sure I would have been really angry if I'd been at the game Peter. I was well pissed off with our performance, particular Arry's team selections, and then delayed response to their failure, but I didn't notice his waving on live TV.
Ridiculous OP, total over reaction. We got beaten, there's a surprise. Next game Sunderland, move on! Shock, horror, Harry waived at the Spurs fans, who cares? I'm sure worse things happen at sea! We are QPR, not Man City or Chelsea, we are going to have days like yesterday, that's why we support the R's, you never know what's going to happen next!
Of course the OP is an over reaction but so are most of the replies. I am very anti HR but I would not be asking for a change at this time. The time for that was the summer of 2013. Of course his waving to Tottenham fans was, in itself, not a major issue. However, it grated very much on all of us that were present. If he had just waved the once he may have got away with his explanation, but to repeat it when your losing four nil was a bitter experience for all of us that were left in the ground. What surprised me yesterday was that I thought the questioning of HR was age related, with us oldies being the anti brigade. However, I was surrounded by people in there early twenties who made my views on HR seem very conservative. The team selection was just as baffling as most were last season. Roller, what I explained to you last sesson ws evident for all to see yesterday!
That is exactly why I don't bother with other teams forums. Going back to Kiwis Signature line about running out of bullets. Another way of saying don't stick you head above the parapet unless your prepared to take a boot in the head occasionally.
Quote " Think the guy is a scum bag who got away with it last year but continues to get by because he's got the press on side because he's always good for a quote" To call Harry a "scum bag" is a bit of an ignorant comment, a bit like calling Adel a "fat useless ****er" we need to get a bit of perspective we are a club trying to establish ourselves in the Premier league results like this will happen, granted Harry made mistakes with selection, were trying to get used to a new defensive formation, these things take time, if he cant sort it out then changes will need to be made but were 2 games in 36 still to go, there's plenty of time.
Totally disagree with this Peter. Would we criticize Ollie if he waved at us in the same circumstances. People are over-reacting to this waving business. He spent the best part of his career at Spurs. Levy sacked him but he still remains friends, he doesn't seem to bear grudges.
Ollie would have acknowledged us before the game & perhaps afterwards. He would not have waved to us during the game. He also wouldn't have made out that he didn't know which fans had asked for a wave. By itself the wave is unimportant. It just felt like he was taking the piss out of us that were there yesterday. Especially as it was the most he moved in the whole ninety minutes!
