Problem with the Red Lion was it got too packed and unless you go their early you were stuck by the door. I expect that when it reopens it will be busy match days and will take a few away from The V bar, but what about in the week?

Hopefully it will be open for trade and go into competition with the oddfellows and other local pubs!

Maybe having a couple of rooms upstairs for B&B as well wouldnt hurt! I would use that kind of facility on my infrequent trips over!

If you were that close to the ground, with direct access to the pumps, would you ever see a game? <doh>Probably better to be within walking distance. ;)

This is how you used to watch Norway. I feel sure that I must be one of them.

The idea of having a legend or first team player pull your pre-match pint is a great money spinner!!! They could invest the clubs money to referb and refit, but then get into a favourable contract with a company like Carlsburg to provide the pints, which could almost recoup the costs straight away and then what ever is taken on match days is almost all profit.

Excellent idea Villa have the same with a massive pub near the ground bought by Randy Learner and now open for the fans. The Red Lion will always be for the Hornets and a great idea from Baz to win the fans over. I have an open mind but like the moves so far from Baz. When I come up from Devon would love a bar to go to with all Hornet decor etc.

Keep it up and more Hornets will come on board.
