I hunted a cougar. Was very well prepared. He had no idea what was coming. One clean shot off on it. But then the little **** then ran at me out of the blue and scored two bites against me in quick succession. Totally undeserved. So I then changed my gun and smashed three bullets into his head and finished him off in the second half of the fight. I'm now top dog in the north, not him. Little jumpstart. All his little cougar fans are crying now saying he didn't have enough rest before I went at him.
Can someone post up some screen shots of where I can find gold bars? I need to get armed to the teeth n stuff. How do I chose to store thing on my horse? Why haven’t I got a fishing rod ? Everywhere I go I get hunted down now as may have killed too many random farmers .
I’ve got incredibly bored with it tbh. It started off as one of the worst games I’ve played in a long time, but I persevered and it did get a lot better but it’s nowhere near an all time great. It’s just repetitive ****e now. I haven’t liked any game since FO4, perhaps I’m bored of gaming. Anybody wanna buy an Xbox One X?
I'm still loving it and am on track for the 100% Still on chapter 4 though but right at the end of it.
The developer's talked a load of **** before it came out, but yeah very good game, thought it would be better tho if im honest. The Devs were saying you just live in the world without any tick box missions, like go see him then bring this back etc. etc. What a load of bollocks, the whole game is led by script. It was being touted as the future of gaming.... it hasn't evem moved on too muvh from the first one imo. Still a great game, just disappointed the devs had to talk **** when marketing it.
The story is key without a doubt. They've improved on most aspects of open world games and yes you can just wander about and there is loads to do. They've set the bar for RPG but yes it could be better. One of the things they should have done is the switching thing like GTA but at the end, yes do the Job Marston thing but then you should have been able to maybe choose Lenny or Javier and wander about with them. Other than killing off everyone that is.
But there was not supposed to be a story, you made your own story by organically living in the world with your camp mates. 75% of it is story led with repetitive tick box missions. Definately not the future of gaming like they said.... And god knows why it took 8 years to make when other companies can knock out games yearly that aren't too much behind red dead 2.
Isn't that the Online version you're on about there, can't see an open world game with no story working.
