A friend who is a Millwall supporter told me about this yesterday. Apparently he was being stupid and was possibly drunk which lead to his accident.

Maybe if he was Italian, but then he'd have been unlikely to have the accident as they don't often (yeah WWII) pick the wrong side to support if there's a risk of harm.
