Seemed to be a one to watch with a bright future, two years ago. Done nowt since. Mustered 6 goals in the last season and a half. I fear Sammy and Shola more and I don't really fear them.

Just read that they have appealed the red card decision so that he can play in the game on Sat against us. So he will be looking at a 4 match ban, which he will as there is no way the F.A. will overturn a head in the face.

They are dozy T**ts, and must be carping themselves about this coming Saturday.

Thing is - the BBC says that the appeal will have to be upheld for him to be able to play!

Just read this myself on the BBC. If it is overturned he can play if not then it's a 4 match ban. I'm pretty sure that it won't be overturned.

Just had a thought on this - if he goes in this window to another club then does this mean he will get an extra game for the red card at that club? Not really fair punishing a player for a clubs mistake if he no longer plays for them

True - not our problem - but it wouldn;t surprise me if Pardew knows he's going to another club potentially around us and he thinks "If I appeal this then I get him a 4 game ban for x y or z" as he's that type of horrible, slimy, cockney twat

If they honestly think they'll win an appeal based on an opponents reaction they really are thick. He went in with his head. The other players reaction is irrelevant to his actions. A head butt is a head butt and an automatic red no matter how hard or soft the head butt was.

Danny Rose, now there's a red that should be overturned.
