the rear wing looks to be lower downforce so probably was always intended though i would have thought that it would be easier adjust downforce between tracks than this and cheaper too but perhaps not

 

Weight shedding apparantly the name of the game for Red Bull this week.

That in itself should bring some net lap time for them.

 

I am surprised the photographer managed to get that shot of the floor, OK so it is inner surface but must give Merc some clue Oh maybe it's a dummy floor for Merc to copy

He sort of let that slip yesterday when he said to Horner 'I should have waited to sign' Good for him, I would love him to win drivers championship but only way that would happen is if Max had an accident and couldn't race and I wouldn't wish that on anyone!

I see a lot of sniping over budget breaches coming out or merc and the inevitable bitter wolff.

What's the real number?

I don't see too many heads at ferrari standing up about this?

I'd like to understand how many teams will be in breach before throwing the mud

Ferrari have gone on about this more than Merc.

I'd absolutely love it if RB were found to have breached the cap. Second massive asterisk next to Veratappen's 'title'.

 

Apparently the New York launch next week may be a tie up with Ford badging the RBR powertrains going forward

 

I can't really work out why Ford would want to rebadge a Honda PU when everyone knows it a Honda unit?
Are there that many fans that are that 'casual' they would think a Ford PU had powered Red Bull to a win?
I thought the US fans where quite interested in the tech side of things?

 

Think it’s more 2026- is that when the Honda IP expires? I agree 100% with you though- hopefully we get more knowledge in the launch next week.

Really do hope Honda and McLaren team back up- it would help both brands erase that black mark of those 3 years when Honda returned.
