After Spurs set a record for their biggest crowd on Thursday at Wembley this is an interesting list of highest attendances at British club's matches. Our biggest both at Loftus Road and White City were against Leeds but nowhere near some of these. I was at the Leeds match in 74 which was frightening at times in the crush.

I remember seeing the No1 in this list on TV at the time, it must have been some atmosphere...

Interesting that the majority of the English ones are FA cup games, that wouldn't happen these days now that it has become a low priority for most clubs.
