We have one fit striker and two fit centre backs. You're just another clueless opposition fan who's jumped on the "moneybag QPR with a maaaassive squad" media drivel. Do your own research before spouting. Sign anyone with a pulse? Well we refused to pay Chris Baird over the odds, and now he's gone to Reading. I don't know why i'm bothering discussing QPR with someone who knows nothing about the club.
Not sure I recall any fans protesting to their chairman, saying, "NO, YOU HAVE SPENT TOO MUCH, WE DONT WANT ANYMORE QUALITY PLAYERS IN OUR TEAM" We have been to the edge of bankruptcy, like many other clubs, while the good times last we will (like all other fans, in our situation) forget the precarious nature of a rich chairman funding a football club. RE FFP that is TF's responsibility to sort that out, I'm sure all clubs have that in their finance plans. For now we need a CB & CF, and we expect them soon !!
Bingo very easy and within the rules... as i see it TF only heads up our financials ... it's the dark agents who have the power and cash
We could of course get Heidar out of retirement. I can't see many objecting to that and definitely no worse than Zamora.
A fooking dinosaur. In one year he set us back five. Having the old bearded crook owning the club didn't help though.
He was great for us at this level, although we could undoubtedly pay higher wages for players than you could. He made a couple of duff signings, but most were right on the money. Unfortunately it didn't work out for us and him in the Premier League but that season in the Championship was magnificent. Maybe he should have retired after we sacked him. Have you read his autobiography? What went wrong when you had Grayson as your manager? I always rated him. I remember his Blackpool side coming to Loftus Road one evening and being a very solid and compact away team. We were lucky to escape with a draw.
Don't normally follow silly WUM threads like this to the end. But the first proper question you are asked and you come up with that crap? OK so he managed Sheffield United. Get over it. The reasons your lot didn't live up to your own delusions of grandeur are that Ken Bates won't ever put any of his own money in and back his manager and the small factor that from the period just before Warnock got there he has managed to sell off Johnson, Howson, Snodgrass and then Becchio. It's a bloody miracle he even kept you in the Championship when you were shedding decent players at that rate. I suppose you are going to blame him for that as well? Now do the decent thing and toddle off or go back and dream of the glory days when everybody hated Leeds.
and still no comment back about Ridsdale, who put them in a far, far worse financial position than Fernandes would ever do with us. I guess the truth hurts almost as much as the defeat at 'fortress' Elland Road....
Bates selling any half decent players and not reinvesting in the team. Gfh do at least appear to have stopped this practice.
Yes there's was, who do you think the pr Pete was I mentioned. He lived the dream and fooked the club. A con man who should have been banned long before going on to cause havoc at Barnsley, Plymouth and even Cardiff.
