Since starting his senior career with Motherwell in 2017 he has scored 12 goals in total over 6 years, 3 of those for Hibs in one game, hardly prolific.

Looking on the bright side for him, Will Keane the goal scoring machine managed eleven goals in his first nine years, hope springs eternal.

I see Dan Batty is now playing for York in the National League. At 25 I thought he'd be playing higher and I was quite surprised he was released from Fleetwood Town.

I see Dan Batty is now playing for York in the National League. At 25 I thought he'd be playing higher and I was quite surprised he was released from Fleetwood Town.

I thought so too, though Fleetwood have been in a bit of turmoil with their chairman being imprisoned and managers changing, maybe just didn't fit with one of the incoming managers. Though, I would have thought, he would have managed to go to a division league 1 or 2 team.
