Grosicki didnt even get into West Brom's 20-man squad. Bowen looks like he's going down with West Ham. Will his pay next season be near to what he could have got with City?
Even with his contractual drop, he will still be miles above what we offered, plus he has a relegation clause so may end up back straight away with another team
If he was on £10k and we offered £20k he might drop to £30k or less with West Ham. I agree that he could leave and get more but who will take him on? He hasn't shown a lot with West Ham, admittedly in a poor team.
I think he's more then shown he can compete in the prem, wasn't it rumoured he got himself an 80k PW contract with the hammers? Even a 50% reduction would still out him way above what we would have offered
Exactly, also he has a work ethic that many talented players don't have, so you will always get 100% from him.
Jarrod Bowen Assisted Soucek’s equaliser with an excellent corner, headed home by the Czech midfielder. Bagged a second assist six minutes after the break laying the ball on a plate for Antonio to tap home. Had Marcos Alonso on toast throughout and the Blues defence couldn’t deal with him all game. 9
Good luck to the lad, shame he'll probably be at West Ham for at least one more season, but a good shop window if nothing else.
Decent game for a 'neutral'. Plenty of drama, right through to the end. Quite enjoyed it. Not sure how West Ham pulled it off, but they did.
I didn't understand why people were complaining about the offside decision. Soucek's first shot hit Antonio when he was in an offside position and he scored with his second shot. If an attacker kicks the ball against an attacker in front of him in an offside position then it's offside.
